NightmareXI Posted June 11, 2011 Member ID: 68 Group: ***- Inactive Clan Members Followers: 44 Topic Count: 62 Topics Per Day: 0.01 Content Count: 2709 Content Per Day: 0.47 Reputation: 132 Achievement Points: 14854 Solved Content: 0 Days Won: 1 Joined: 09/02/09 Status: Offline Last Seen: November 20, 2022 Birthday: 04/13/1969 Posted June 11, 2011 hey idiots, this is a way to solve the copy and paste issue with firefox and xtremeidiots.com like many of you guys and girls I use Firefox most of the time the only browser everything works fine with our xtremeidiots homepage like posting pics links whatever... the only thing that pissed me off a lot of times with Firefox was the copy and paste issue you had to copy with ctrl+c and paste with ctrl+v here is a solution to enable copy and paste on our site. search for the "user.js" file in your firefox profiles directory at: C:\Users\Name\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default just search for the file with windows search but it should be located there... open this file with an editor like notepad++(http://notepad-plus-plus.org/download) and add this to the file: user_pref("capability.policy.policynames", "allowclipboard"); user_pref("capability.policy.allowclipboard.sites", "http://www.xtremeidiots.com"); user_pref("capability.policy.allowclipboard.Clipboard.cutcopy", "allAccess"); user_pref("capability.policy.allowclipboard.Clipboard.paste", "allAccess"); save the file and start or restart firefox again copy and paste should now work with right click if you need any help to set this up give me a call Regards P.S.: tested with Firefox 3.6.17, not sure if it is needed with FF 4 or if it works with FF4 because I downgraded my FF in the beginning of the release of the 4.0 version Awards
