You can build cheaper as nightmare  says  and  buy in netherlands  is cheaper  look at http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/ and 700 watt for 1 videocard is to much  and use   psu calculator ( google for it and you now what psu you need)

And why coolermaster  psu  there are cheaper  psu and even good as coolermaster

And  look for amd  is also cheaper and  good for gaming

And  for 100 euro you can get  16gb   mem  ddr3  kingston 7-7-7

If you want to spend  about 500  ore 550  euro you can build   better a new system than upgrade  and a 560ti  you can buy for 200 euro

Look good over the internet and make your choise  than

First make the choice what you want amd  ore intel, than look for cpu, then coose motherboard, than  mem for it, than videocard and what psu

A dvd/ rw  you  can get for 20 euro

And a new case , a good one  you can buy for   about 65 euro  with cable  manegment  I  self have here the haf x  and  haf plus they have big fans  200mm.

There is a lot of choice take your time  for it

thats pretty nice Chavez....

the case is nice....I have the HAF X 932...best case I ever had

still not sure about the Corsair PSU LOL

MB is fine ....I have the Asus Sabertooth i55

cpu ...easy oc to 4.2-4.4 Ghz 24/7

maybe change the cooler to the Noctua NH-D14....better temps on high load....at least what I have read so far

you choose the 560 TI...for sure a good card....the 560 without the TI is just a little faster like the old 460

the Corsair RAM is cool....again personal taste I prefer my G.Skill ;)

HDD is not a big deal....most of the modern HDDs are almost equal....or again personal taste or experience....LOL

if you want the ultimate speed go for an SSD for your os like I posted before

I never wanted to spend so much money for an HDD but the higher speeds are worth it....

again just an opinion I know LOL

Chavez, no need for the Noctua C14...it's a special model for narrow cases and HTPCs...

The NH-u12P, or better the NH-D14 are better suited, especially in a HAF X (sexy case btw)...

I don't like the corsair vengeance RAM, just because the heatspreaders are really high and MIGHT interfere with the cooler fan's...and I like my Gskill!!!

I have no clue of what it implies to buy from the UK and ship to Belgium tho..sry...

I know this site has a lot of stuff and a support forum to boot. It's always nice to post your proposed rig, and the lads are telling you what fits, what doesn't and what's working better....the P8P67 EVO is nice, but you can consider the PRO for a few bucks less...

Whatever floats your boat!

Oh ...BTW, I'm no ATI/AMD fanatic, but OVERCLOCKERS UK got a MSI HD6950 2GB With thetwinn frozr III cooler, power edition of the card, and it's got also a copy of DIRT 3 that comes with it...it's a little more powerful than a 560TI....

Anyway, I'm rocking my two MSI 560Ti Twin Frozr II Overclocked 880MHz in SLI and it rocks!!! Love those cards!

mmm im not sure about the noctua not supporting the 1155 socket, might have to investigate.

for the ssd, u dont have to buy more than one.

its just the main drive, that will host only your OS and all drivers and some program u may want to run fast.

and then u get a normal HD for all kind of storage u want

seriously, the ssd is amazing, its like day and night for speed.

when u first use a ssd, u feel like its the right speed for everything, and u dont want to go back to a normal one.

u gona spend a lot of money on a rig, i really advise you to get a ssd, trust us, its just amazing.

im also using gskill ram, no problem at all with it.

for the normal HD, u chose samsung, for my part i would have get a western digital caviar black, but yea its like green or red apples, everyone piuck a color and may be happy with it or not.

oh and btw, if u gona buy it online, im using http://www.materiel.net that one is in france, but very good products and nice support, and in germany u got lot of stores like caseking.de, alternate.de or alternate.be, hiq24.de

those are cheaper than what u can get in belgium

MOFO digs Western digital Black for storage.....

SSDs are pretty awesome too...jeez too much shiny stuff to grab!!!!!!!!!!

Easy one here....1155 is EXACTLY like 1156...also, NH-D14 is the most popular heatsink for Sandybridge overclocking..you can google nh-d14 on 1155

This is the latest from the NOCTUA's site, off the NH-D14 specs.

SecuFirmSecuFirm2™ multi-socket mounting system
Noctua’s enthusiast grade SecuFirm2™ multi-socket mounting provides broad socket compatibility (LGA1366, LGA1156, LGA1155, LGA775, AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, FM1) and meets the highest demands in safety, contact pressure and ease-of-use.

Here is a pic of an NH-D14 on a ASUS P67 (socket 1155) motherboard, the SABERTOOTH, in a HAF X case... note the MSI videocard, with the TFII cooler (GTX580 is this case... the 560Ti is just a little shorter and CHEAPER lol)

5657324644_ca6850bdc5_b.jpg

for the motherboard, on the ASUS side, it's a matter of feature..the PRO is a few bucks less that the EVO...just check at the features

p67specsheet.jpg

I own the DELUXE and it's a nice board, FULL of features (i'll never use the bluetooth thingy tho...), but that being said, feature you don't need, you don't want to pay for...a PRO is already really good. The EVO and the deluxe go up in price, and the WS being the most expensive....

It's important to cut a few $$$ on useless stuff (useless to you I mean), to invest it in what matters...FRAMES PER SECOND!!!

If you want to up the ante a little, the MSI GTX570 TFIII power edition is a beast...The Asus DirectcuII GTX570 (triple slot tho...big focker) is also good....but you won't be able to SLI later if you pick a triple-slot ASUS 570...

Man you got the choicE!!!!!!

How is the UK pricing for you anyway? Is it a lot more expensive to you if you add shipping and customs???

looks like you have a lot of good advice here now

Mofo just went through building a new rig and he uses some parts you are looking for

the SSD part is well explained now I think....they are expensive but...

I am using a lot proggis in the background and most of the them are loaded at sys startup

still my SYS starts up in 10 seconds because of the SSD....if you have one you never want to go back to a usual HDD

all my personal data is outsourced to my usual HDD ....like videos and pics and stuff....

feel free to ask for help with the setup....Mofo and CHKN are using SSDs and so I do....wont be a big deal...

dont get me wrong with the PSU....Mofo has a XFX and I dont like this brand this much at PSUs

but looks like it works fine there Cool

I love them at video cards....a few stated they dont like Enermax...bad experience and stuff

if you had trouble with this or that you wont suggest it anymore

like I posted earlier some experience and some personal taste

but one thing with the RAM....Mofo is right with the hight of the heatspreaders of some RAMs

I had this issue here with my Prolimatech Mega Shadow and thats why I bought my G.Skill Ripjaws in the first place

have a closer look there

if you want to have a look at my sys :  Nightmares RIG

regards :)(:

Nightmare,

your rig is pretty nice...I dig the Acceleros and the  ENERMAX PSU, they look great

On the XFX power supply side, no hurt done...it's when you research the particular models that you learn the truth..

My XFX 850 black ed. is in fact a rebranded SEASONIC 850 M12D powersuppply. It's one of the best 850 watts on the market...only bad is the lime-green fan blades, but I don't seen that, it's underneath...

http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=165

TSW8.5 got one also, his is not-modular, but it's the same Seasonic internals...

When I look for a PSU, i look at jonnyguru's reviews, he's the most knowledgeable power supply reviewer...he 'strips PSU apart, and analyse it's components. He owns the expensive PSU load tester and he created the HOT BOX test to rate the powersupplies at 50 degrees celsius, to check if manufacturers are lying on the their specs...

So, the question is always..who MANUFACTURED the powersupply and how, more than who sells it under their name...

thing is the noctua is a beast, it needs space, so i agree with the others, get the gskills ripjaws as those can fit under the noctua.

actually the fan sit right above the ram slots, so u cant install big fat ram heatsinks.

ya I think my rig is not this bad LOL and thanks for the compliments buddy....

at least its all I need to play my favourite games like Crysis on highest settings with almost  100fps

I hope we are not high-jacking this topic now LMAO

btw the link you posted with this jonnyguru reviews is really new to me...but I will have a closer look....thanks for that...

but most of the people dont know this much about hardware....agreed?

they buy stuff because of the name and maybe if it looks cool LOL

many companys dont produce their own products they just put a lable on it

so you dont know what you get sometimes...

takes a lot of time to read all of the reviews tests and stuff

for sure I know you did your homework

BTT now....sorry chavez LOL
