I .A .S , and brain cancer will all have loved ones that go thru this , we all need to rember why we are here and to enjoy life ! just spent 5 hrs with my dad . HE was asleep most of the time but talked to him anyway , hope he heard the words, felt the touches and knew i was there for him and my mom . I always ask my kids what have you done for someone else today , make a memory to put in the old brain box and heart ! will never ever forget my mom kissing my day today ,her holding his hand telling she loves him ......... thanks again all Awards

I lost my father when i was 17 and i can tell you this, we really dont lose them, they stay in your heart and mind forever. you know what they would say, you know what they would do, so in a way you still get to talk with them and see their faces everyday. stay strong bud.

Do not be embarrassed to talk to your Dad even after he has passed. It seems many of us continue to talk to our lost loved ones. I lost my wife back in April and I still talk to her every day, it's sort of like how you might talk to your God. I find great comfort in "talking" to her, it helps me remain close and actually keeps me grounded and making reasonable decisions. Perhaps you may find the same consolation. No doubt you have leaned a lot from your Dad, talking to him will reinforce what he tried to teach you. I do feel for you and the loss you are about to endure. Perhaps you can find comfort in your faith.
