Idk what's up... Anyone else getting this shit... As u can see, it isnt telling what the violation is cause its blocked by the close button... Now check your ..\pb folder for a file called pbcl.log If you have hidden your file extensions, please make sure you open pbcl.log and not pbcllog.cfg! or pbcl.db Paste the line from there into a new note. In case the kick occurs too fast to type the commands, go to your PB folder and create a plain text file "pbcl.cfg" in it (use a text editor like "Notepad", make sure it has no additional '.txt' extension). Put the text "pb_logtofile 1" as a single line to it. Then save the file and join a PB enabled server. After getting kicked, you should have a file "pbcl.log" in the PB folder. Here it concerns a problem to me arrived a few days ago and that made ??me unable to play Battlefield 3 on servers protected by PunkBuster. The error message was displayed after a few seconds after the arrival of a part: Game disconnected: kicked by PunkBuster You Were. Stated reason: Punkbuster kicked player ******* (for 0 minutes) ... RESTRICTION: Disallowed Program / ??Driver [120181] Basically this message means that a program or driver installed on your machine is not allowed. Do not worry you are not banned, just that you are blocked by PunkBuster's all. To solve this problem I had to peel the net a lot and found some solutions that will solve this problem. Of course the error message displayed may be of another type, but must always involve PunkBuster if you read this article all the way. Here are the solutions I propose: Disable polluters Clean and update PunkBuster Send a ticket to Even Balance Disable polluters Often this kind of error comes from the fact that a program interacts with the game basically a program that can provide information on the screen as the Steam overlay, in Teamspeak or XFire. Here's a list programs could pose such problems: Ingame Steam Community Ventrilo Chat Overlay Team Speak Overlay Mumble Overlay DxTweaker ATI Tray Tools (depending on version) Game Accelerator (uninstall, then reboot) EVGA Precision tool Pando Media Booster Of course they are not alone, and since we all have different machines with a lot of programs installed, I suggest you do this manipulation: Click on Start, then Run (or Windows + R) Enter msconfig and click OK. Click the Start of the window that is displayed. And Disable All Restart your machine. If launching the game you always have the error message, go to the next step of this article. Clean and update PunkBuster Delete PunkBuster We will first start with PunkBuster to completely remove from your computer. For this pbsvc.exe download the utility and run it. In the window that appears, choose Un-Install/Remove PunkBuster Service Now that the uninstall is complete via PBSCV we will clean up the files / directories left on your computer. Go to the directory where you installed Battlefield 3. (Here C: \ Program Files \ Origin Games \ Battlefield 3) and delete the folder pb therein. Now your user directory management where data on PunkBuster (you show hidden files and folders), here Windows 7 gives it: C: \ Users \ [username] \ AppData \ Local and delete the directory PunkBuster . Install and update PunkBuster To install PunkBuster, it's easy just to reopen pbsvc.exe and choose the first option Install / Re-Install PunkBuster Service . If the following message is displayed, the installation was successful! If this is not the case, then you have a problem with your firewall. Verify that the files PunkbusterA.exe and PunkbusterB.exe are allowed and that the ports are open. To update PunkBuster we will download the utility called pbsetup.exe The launch of the PBSetup window, click Add a Game and select Battlefield 3 from the list. Normally the way to the games will be automatically entered for selection. If this is not the case, pull it by hand then click Add Game . Now that the game is selected, click Check for Updates and wait for the update. Here you can try again start the game If it still does not work, go to the next step. Send a ticket to Even Balance So here's the last resort to solve a problem due to PunkBuster: to call the company that developed this application by sending them a ticket. You will need a minimum of knowledge in English but if you know nothing, I will explain So first of all before attending to write to Even Balance, we will recover the PunkBuster logs generated after the error. To do this, go to your home directory where PunkBuster (you display hidden files and folders), here on Windows 7 it gives: C: \ Users \ [username] \ AppData \ Local \ PunkBuster \ BF3 \ bp Here you will create a file named pbcl.cfg which shall contain: See the code Print A pb_logtofile 1 Now that the file is created, try again to connect to the game to regenerate the error message.
