Ouch, yeh you picked the worst map ever for your first TDM game. I hate that map so much when playing that game type, that I go to another server. It's like a long corridor. INFANTRY ONLY - favours those who play as Assault/Medic and Recon. Those of us who usually play as Engineers would obviously have to adapt. The plus is that one would not have aircraft above in an uneven contest with the troops on the ground. NO EXPLOSIVES - again favours the above two classes and places players outside the USA at a great disadvantage due to elevated pings. I can foresee an even greater number of snipers sitting back with an increased level of immunity. Was a breath of fresh air cause i hate to killed by them... I like clays and nades... Sqdm is only allowed in a 16 man server.. Hence squads of 4. Was ok and takes alot of teamwork.. I agree this type of server would be a sniper heaven... TDM i enjoyed and you can have whatever size slot server you want. So thats a hard decision to make.. Either 16 slot sqdm with a mix of tdm.. But 8 on 8 just seems boring after playing 64 slot and 32 slot... A 28 slot hardcore infantry server with no rpg, msaw, and m320 nade launchers is a lot of fun... I seen servers that kill you if you use the rpg, msaw and m320!! And Skunk I am a BF3 player and my opinion is just that!! I do drop back and play ace mod cod4 for the DM play as a change from BF3 every now and then!! We already have 2 vehicle servers in BF3. 1 of em hardcore.. Do you want another?? I thought the point of this was to get a different gamestyle!! If you dont like my opinion then ignore it!! But im still going to voice it whether you like it or not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are plenty of servers out there to play whatever style you like in BF3... I have a bunch of different kinds in my fav list in BF3. I have played plenty of different styles of games with stuff blocked from being used. XI is unique and I think we need to have several "Different kinds" of servers to appeal to a broad range of different types of players... I play it all the time and they usually dont have vehicles(actually ive never seen vehicles). im down for a 32 player server with both reg maps and kark ones. Variety is the spice of life, and we are trying cater for ALL players! Just because we like COD doesn't mean we don't like BF3.
