When John Meloor saw the Sex Pistols he knew the direction he wanted to go. He got his group together to push political topic with underlying moral tones which became a huge success for them. I think the album "London Calling" became the album of the decade for the 80's. I know it was one of their albums. They had a huge impact on American music notably Nirvana and the whole Seatlle grunge scene. Enough of my erratic rambling on useless music trivia. As a side note, did any of my European friends happen to see a band called Penguin Riot in the early 80's? We were a group of guys in the Army and hit it pretty good traveling all across Europe until we were sent to Africa.
