I have been having issues with my logitech mouse G500. Has anyone ran into such problem where you shooting in cod4 and stop and go to shoot some more and it dont do anything and when you have a semi -auto it shots like 2 times in one click? I have not spilled anything in or on the mouse. Any thoughts?

Same thing with my old mouse. Broken wire at the front entry where it goes into the mouse. Really hard to diagnose because it was so intermittant. I had three or four old mouses lying aroud so I dissected them to get a good cord. The cord are usually plug in but the connectors are different. First cord (stock) lasted about a year, second is still on mouse but has been replaced with a RAT 7.

Hope it helps.. If you decide to take apart your mouse , take good pictures and wacth carefully. There are small springs that choose totally random moments to escape.

don't think it's a wire ,but who knows , I always thought it was just a glitch in the game , Doesn't happen often enough to be a big deal.

almost every mouse after their time will do this

its made of plastic and its not eternal, but sometimes cleaning it helps.

it could simply be like dust, or dirt there inside interfering with the mecanism

but then it also could be a conflict like supposed above

when i took my g500 apart to clean it i didnt remove the pads I took my small phillips found the screw indentions in the pads and pushd the driver through the pads. when you are done just push the open hole towards the screw hole and you have no snags and mouse glides smoothly over surface.there are 2 screws in rear pad behind weight cartridge, one in the pad on the right side looking at bottom, on next to the logitech logo on the left side bottom. and one, front part of bottom just to the right of where the cord comes into the mouse

well, i got a G500 for 3 years now, i do not use logitech software, as the mouse works perfect without it. No problems at all... may be your mouse needs a real inside cleaning...

dawgy Lady and red rum are all running it on their comps. undeadcrows are the creator of this edition. i have used other undead crows conversions in the past for xp and vista. 7 is by far their best work. all the bs is gone and right clicking on the desktop gives you access to almost anything you need to do. very well thought out
