I believe the update hit the servers today I'm not a 100% sure but I think it did. I changed all the houses that go down both sides they no longer look like all the same house... each house has its own look and an address on the front and the back sides.... Also I have closed off half of them so out of a total of 22 houses only 11 gives you access to the inside. The houses down the center also have numbers on them, on both sides of the street... So there are less places to hide out and numbers you can give your teammates to help you give someone location up... These are some things that I have noticed while playing that I think would increase the fun of gameplay and maybe make it a little quicker I guess.... To me its a small map but I have been told thats really a med. to large map hmmmm well anyway I'm just trying to make it a little better in my opinion! I hope you like the changes... Also the gametypes have now been tested: they are; Team Death Match, Death Match (FFA), Sabotage, Search & Destroy & Domination...they all worked great while testing them! I'm now dipping into Hidden Valley and I will prob make a few changes in there as well, and of course test out the gametypes.... I'll let you know when thats finished... I wanted to add ctf to them but for some reason I keep getting a syntex error and have no idea why....YET! Cheers, Hope you like it!

I don't see why not. They are just .iwi files. But I am not sure how to do it either. People have done COD4 -> COD5... maybe I'll review that option first and see if I can do it the other way too. Create a custom gdt file to hold all of your custom stuff in assman and add the new materials there. naming conventions of images from cod4 or onward (not sure about cod2). _c is the color image. _n for normal. _spec for specular. _cos for the cosine power map. Not everything needs all of that and my guess is that a simple wall only needs the color one. otoh most stock xmodels typically use them all. Awards
