Can be a pain and even get you killed but unfortunately, not aware of any fix. The work around is to use auto defrost by /+activate or simply by switching to your hand gun and back again will your weapon return to auto mode. I assume one is the single shot, but have no clue why it's there. If I cycle back through the secondary to the first primary, I'm assured that the weapon is in automatic mode. Hope that helps. Keep spinning the wheel you will get your next weapon. I'm guessing you need to look at your weapon set up. Your hitting a buton and changing the selection while your thawing.
