My wife took our dog to be castrated and now I cannot look him straight in the eye.. I never liked the idea, but now its done and I feel kinda guilty. Should I take my dog in for grief counselling? Any ideas LOM? I know you lost your "marbles" too lol Edited August 5, 2013 by Joe Canadian Xalandra 1 Awards

Don't cost near that much here. Well.... if he was around 6 months I say you did the right thing. If he is 1 year or older.... you just wasted your money. Then I suggest you take him to grief consoling because he WILL remember he had nutz.

Shouldn't cost anything over $100. Did he have a retained testicle or a hernia? That could be a little more $$. Good god, its just balls....takes like 2 minutes to cut them off and into the trashcan with those bad boys hxtr 1 Awards

I bought "canine insurance" last year, ($40 Canadian a month) so I will get 70% of the bill back, but its still a lot of money. My kids love this dog like a brother, so getting rid of him is not even an option...Dr. Sidhu if you are reading this... FU lol Edited August 5, 2013 by Joe Canadian hxtr 1 Awards

If you pay the bill with cash before you leave the Dr's office it can be 25%-40% less then the bill the insurance company would see. It's no wonder health insurance is so fuking expensive. OK rant over, Here on the ranch when it comes time to "lop" the nutz off the calf's its just a quick "snip and "sizzle" . . . . . the nutz get cut off and some freaky sonsofbitches like to toss em on the grill and sizzle em up a bit and eat the dam things . . . . . they call em Mountain Oysters . .. . .i call it sick You know come to think of it you could have sold your dogz nutz to one of these ranchers and got some of your money back . . lol Awards
