HI ALL CAN YOU USE 2 DIFFERENT GRAPHICS CARD IN CROSSFIRE ? I HAVE A SAPPHIRE 7950 X 3GB VAPOUR X EDITION CARD BUT COULD I USE A SAPPHIRE AMD RADEON HD 7950 X3 GB CARD IN CROSSFIRE WITH IT ? ALL DO THE CARDS HAVE TO BE THE SAME MODEL ?? THANKS .................

Pretty sure it doesnt matter the brand name so long as the model numbers are the same. Also from what I understand if the two cards have different ram sizes both will use the lower of the two. Even if one has more.

It's kind of like a RAID, you would be better off having a matching pair, but as long as they talk to each other you might be better off than not.

the slower card will be the cross-fire speed

 

another issue is your PowerSupplyUnit

 

does the 12v rail have enough current to run both cards

I see you won't have any issue with these two cards with xfire setup because they are both 7000 series. brand name doesn't matter.  the beauty about amd gpu is they can be paired together if same series. you can't match the 7000 series with 6000 or 5000 series.

do not trust any PSU company that hide real spec data an only show finale output as their spec's or use Combined power rating

 

says 83 amps on 12v rail (Combined)  should be enough to run 2 cards
