I will tell you it was the greatest place to live if you were a gun enthusiast. Walk into the sporting goods store/gun store with your pistol strapped to your hip, check it at the front counter. Walk to the back and purchase your new weapon (no waiting required, except for the couple of minutes it took for the "background investigation), walk back to the front counter to pick up your original pistol and exit the store double packing. Add in that large portions of the state are utterly beautiful and jaw-dropping and you have a winner in my book (if you can stand the cold that is).
