I watch this 2-3 times a year. This kid chokes me up every time I see this. I think this has been posted but I have to post it again "lest we Forget"!

Freedom? Just reflect on what it cost. REMEMBRANCE! Say thank you to a vet.

“A young man waves. He’s off to war

He’s young just eighteen, not a child anymore.

The parents’ hearts are full with pride

He’ll never know of the tears they cried.

They received his letters. He is a rear gunner,

On the new plane, “The Lancaster Bomber.â€
He writes, “I’ll be home for Christmas, just one more mission to fly.â€

They didn’t know, he wouldn’t come. It was his time to die.

Then it came on the 18th of December

The fateful news they’ll always remember.

Your son is missing. We not know where.

We share your grief. You know we care. Thank God. The war is finally won. Then seven years later, they found her son.

The Sea of Holland had been his grave. He died a man. He had been brave. He’s buried now in that Holland land.

He’s been with God. He’s shook His hand. Although it’s been a long time ago. Their hearts still hurt, a lot, I know. As always, when we share Remembrance Day.

They think of him, and to God they say.

“Stop these wars. Let the world be satisfied.

We’ve lost enough, our sons have died.â€
