I powered up the PC this morning then realized it was loading files to start the windows7 install. I hit the reset, removed win7 disc and the PC said boot fail... I put win7 disc back in and allowed it to load conpletely. The choices I have now are 1. Use recovery tool/Select an operating system to repair(None listed) and 2. Restore from image and I have no image. Choice #1 said I needed Mass storage drivers. I have a Hatichi HD and need help to save this os if possible. Thanks Edited January 8, 2015 by OSIRIS
 Awards

The win7 disc shouldn't have proceeded through any kind of installation unless prompted to proceed. Hitting the reset while copying files was definitely a shot in the foot. Odds are you corrupted something important. A repair would be the way to go. hxtr and Mule

All your files should appear in a folder named Windows Old. Only if the "repair" option fails. Sux, but it beats a full format. eidolonFIRE
 Awards

Pop it back in and instead of installing Windows 7 opt for the repair option. Hopefully you have it figured out before you read this message.
