Hi Joe,

 Cool! Yes, it's been very interesting seeing the differences and similarities between the two styles. My original style was based on Five Animals Kung Fu, so the Japanese arts are a whole new realm! Less so these days, but when I first started training in Aikido, I would get pressured and automatically revert back to kung fu mode. My chief instructor Aaron always gets a kick out of this when it happens and will stop and ask me what it is I'm doing... name of stance, reason etc. Kinda funny but embarrassing. Like getting caught wearing 2 different shoes... there's no hiding it!

  And Pink... sorry, no crime fighting battles. These days my main fight is against Father Time :-)

 

 

 Aikido is the most efficient "art" there is, ask your Sensei :-)
