Okay, I messed up somewhere somehow...anytime I try to open a PDF instead of Adobe being default...Word is. Currently instead of the simple double click and poof Adobe Reader opens my PDF file...now I have to right click and select open with Adobe...What a freaking pain!

Any suggestions?? Computer Specs are in the Signature Box below...

Thanks,

aj

Not sure of location in Windows 7 but in Windows 10 in control panel/Default Programs/Set your default programs, you can assign the defaults to all your programs. Office products are usually set to default automatically.

you can hold Shift and do a right click and select Open With then you can choose Adobe if it shows up or browse to the location. The box should be checked to open with that program every time.

Or Darks way.
