I remember eating at McDonald's in Germany in 1981. Their bread was way better than American bread.

Sorry for that Germany and the UK. Sorry we sent you McDonald's. Our bad. Our mistake. Forgive us.

Not even kidding...American bread tastes like European cake. Why does American bread contain corn syrup nd/or sugar (depending on brand).

There was a YouTube video done where a guy added flour to ice cream and baked it, took it too the streets and the general public said it tasted like normal bread.

Why America, why?

I agree.... our bread is crap compared to breads in Europe. Though I have only had it in Germany and France.. I am sure it is great all over.

Food in Europe is overall a better quality than America. I don't get it why our standards have sunken so low. European candy is the best I've had, cookies and such. I mean come on, toblerone, need I say more? I am not moving there any time soon but I wouldn't mind importing their food.
