Hello everyone,

I really enjoy this mod :)  and I also have some suggestions.
At first, its extremely hard to play without adjusting brightness, couldn't this be solved by adjusting time in map itself?
Secondly, zombies can only use fists, so I think they should be in greater numbers :) for example 6:10.

 

Also it would be really nice if it would be possible to change players characters, for example US Player could look like regular US or NK soldier. Zombie would require custom model... But this requires mod for client right?Undecided


And wouldn't this be better?

EDIT: Got another idea how to control jumping. As far as I know currently jump power is calculated from speed, what about controlling jump power with speed and camera angle?  for example the higher you look the higher you will jump. This would be useful for jumping over fences/walls, you run towards wall, look to the top of it and jump over. Undecided

Thanks for the suggestions. 

I don't see us using character models.. that would be the death of the mod. This is much easier for people to join if they can just hop in the server without having installed a mod.

 

We are working on an NK to US ratio, and the code suggestion will be looked into by duc or DarkLite I assume. 

I make the maps dark because it A) is scary and B) gives the zombies an advantage in several ways. I can try to adjust the brightness to be a little more healthy for player eyes, but idk how well it will go.

 

I am currently brainstorming ideas for a new and more accurate jumping system. Something much like you suggested.

Approval from Rugger and Mavericks that we are adding 4 slots over ASAP.

The slots comes from the Hardcore and still 14 slots there.

There is a player (US) on there using strength, speed and cloak. Someone claims it is a bug but looks like a hack to me. player name bay_bay.

 

Whilst i'm here.... I can't play zombie team as the screen rotating cw/ccw like that does my head in. Rocking motion stays if I go to spectate or change sides. only way to stop going mad is to quit and rejoin. Still good fun though. Got called a cheat yesterday so I must be getting better :)

ive had this bug that they are talking about i've always gotten it while i was on the american team ive had it about 3 times... i have all powers and its pretty fun once i die it goes away... ive had it once on zombies side and ive had all functions but as soon as i died i got night vision back and ilost all but the strenght and armor functions... maybe that will shed some light i dunno though

^ same buggy situation. I got as zombie though-- you end up with full suit function, but no weapons or night vision.

It fixes back to zombie after 1 death.

When it gains a certain amount of people, the server becomes quickly full. But if it dips to like 3, everyone leaves.

I would infer that it loses its appeal when there are only a few people playing, but it is awesome when there are many.

 

So just invite a lot of people, GND guys seem pretty excited ... get their friends and stuff ...

Since this mod is heavily based on teamwork, there needs to be probably 4 players minimum to be fun.

Confirming the above, 2v2 is basically impossible for zombies. And is the heavy machine gun/sniper necessary?

US ends up camping on high cliffs and are near impossible to touch.

 

(the noise of the jump gives zombies away)

Maybe duc could set up a script that disables sniper and minigun at low player counts. Although, the way those weapons are in the map you have to unlock barriers and you can't always do that with just 2 people..

I like Ruined map.

The zombies new night vision is much better .. the green stuff made me nauseous.
