If you have ever purchased anything from NCIX or saved payment methods I would get new cards immediately.

That's kinda funny because NCIX went Bankrupt last December. They had a 2 day long Public Auction March 7th-8th and everything was sold including the storage racks. Linus from Linus Media group (Linus Tech Tips on Youtube) used to work for them and went to the auctions.

I knew by their accents where they came from when they called me like 10 times. I just told them to foff and get a real job. The last time they called I told them I had given the RCMP permission to put a  trace on my phone and thanked them for staying on the line with me for 4 minutes which was long enough to get the trace lol They hung up hahahaha

NCIX went bankrupt and sold everything at auction. But they also had an Off Site storage facility that they were renting, filled with over 500 computers and servers. The contents of the off site storage facility was given to the owner of the storage facility to pay for the back rent that was owed.

He sold the contents and who ever bought the stuff made multiple copies of the information on the servers and sold Hard Copies for $35,000 each to several Chinese based Companies. He got caught when he tried to sell additional DIGITAL copies for $15,000 each on the internet.

The contents of the servers included Names, Addresses, Phone numbers, Social Insurance (Social Security numbers) Credit card numbers and residential history.

This leak is very serious and concerning especially to EX NCIX Employees.

That's one hell of a fuck up eh?

When the dude tried to sell them for $15000 each that is when he met Travis Doering and the original story broke which is mentioned in the video at the beginning  time stamp 2:13. The link to the Travis Doering story is in my post at the top and the reason I made this thread.

The RCMP think they are all knowing and that the public is stupid. They know what happened and all they said was they retrieved all the computers from the dude. They know what info he sold and for how much. The dude got greedy and that is what got him caught. (ijit)

I had an account with NCIX but I replaced my credit about a month before all this shit happened and since then I have a new phone number.

I imagine that when it all came out to the public peeps replaced credit cards with new ones (at least I hope so).

I do feel bad for all the employees. Canadian government will not replace a sin card with a new number but I am hoping they would in a situation like this one.

The bad thing about it is that there was enough into stored in those servers to apply and get accepted for new credit cards.

It takes a lot more than name, address and phone number to get a credit card.

Customers would not have any issues with that kind of info. All they have to do is replace their credit cards. If they start getting spammed on their phones they can change their number.

Employees are the only ones who have to worry. I did find out that all the employees were given new social insurance numbers. The old ones are probably being used by the government to see if anyone uses them.

The employees probably changed all their passwords to everything, at least I hope they did.

I can hardly wait till they catch Steve Wu the owner of NCIX. He is facing a shit of charges and law suits. He is the biggest jerk for not encrypting his shit. Who the fuck does not encrypt their shit in today's society?

So many useless black hat criminal hackers out there just to make peoples lives hard.
