So either your sata cable is loose or not good, you can either reseat the cable or replace it to see if that fixes it. Another thing you could look at is the back of the motherboard near the sata connection lanes to see if there is any cracks and if there is then you would need to replace your mobo.

I would hench the bets Winodws is corrupt,as said had same problems,downloaded W10 to use direct from usb to install had nothing but crashes,mainly blue screen all security issues,in end re downloaded another from MS used Home instead of Pro no crashes or freezes,one of the other problems faced was Windows worked fine till i updated it,so as said went and used new download and different eversion...Also DONT use W10 to format  if its a ssd! uses there programme

And is it connected to a surge protector or straight into the wall?

Look on the back of the surge protector and tell me what the rating on that is for amps/watts.

Ok so the surge protector is not the problem I don't think but try to use another if you can and if you still have the issue try to use a spare PSU and see if it persists.

@Oster so I did the calc on both pc. and it comes up to about 1000 watts for both. I have both pluged into the sam surge protector I would think this would be a issue  . what do you think Now I do have 1000watt psu in my gaming rig and a 650watt in my streaming rig which makes the math pretty close . I also have 2 32" monitors and 2 27" monietrs hooked up the same surge protector. I may be super close. since my pc's are 1650 on there own .  but it runs in safe mode . which confuses me

Well in safe mode your power settings should default to power saver mode which might be the reason why it is stable and during normal boot your machine is pulling too much power from your surge protector which I think is why it is freezing because it is being starved of power. What I would suggest is if you have room try to plug your computers directly into the wall temporarily and see if the problem persists. If it does not and that is the issue then you need to get a heavy duty surge protector or get a different one so you have a surge protector for each PC.

Try to amend your sata cables up 1 slot so if you have 3 cables it would go from 012 to 123.

Finally if that doesn’t work you can try to switch out the motherboard.

Do you really need Pro it seems like me has problems,some do some dont, hence why i went down to Home 64bit[ it gives you an option in menu when installing to which versions,well mine did lol]...to give you idea the difference between Pro and Home...https://www.pcgamer.com/whats-the-difference-between-windows-10-home-and-pro/

@Krackennutz n I don't need pro but it really didn't give me the option for pro or home. you know I think it did once but hasn't since the multiple installs..  I will have to read a bit and see why I didn't give me the option

Try going to the Task Manager and the StartUp tab.  Disable all startup items and reboot.  See if it's stable.  If so go back and enable 1 at a time ( or 2 or 3 if you have a bunch of them ) restart and see if it's stable.  Rinse and repeat until you have have a crash.  This might identify a program of driver that isn't playing nicely with your system.

 @Oster

@Krackennutz

@CW4

  Just an update. I replaced my Asus Maxiums IX Formula motherboard with my spare Asus Maxiums VIII Hero Motherboard and seams to be stable at this point. Must have been the power delivery to either the sata ports .. Thanks for all your help .

No problem @Evil-Monkey  it really sucks that the motherboard was the problem I was trying to avoid that option until a last resort because of it being one of the more pricey pieces. I hope you are able to RMA or return the one you have because of that being the issue.
