Good post.
By the way, the X570 was the best chipset for DUAL booting Win7/Win10 or 11.

People tend to forget about chipset drivers (AMD and/or Intel). People tend to trust Microsoft's Operating System to provide everything. Or people do not check the Device Manager, missing stuff. People should always check their vendor website like Asus, (disgusting) Gigabyte or f.e. MSI. Same goes for BIOS updates.

There are forums that can make drivers for you. For example, the Win-Raid Forum that made a NVMe driver to work through the BIOS/Bootable for me. I could not boot from the drive, but only to access it at Windows. There are some other forums that are hosting drivers before making it on vendor websites like this one: https://station-drivers.com/index.php/en/

Vendors, are testing these drivers/firmwares/biosses before releasing it to the public. Here is one of them too (in French): https://www.touslesdrivers.com

NOTE: Be very careful to look for a 'special' driver, that leads you to install like Driver Booster, Driver Genius or other shit. Once you see a program to be downloaded, end it right away and Do NOT use it. Keep it to your vendor-brand website for an (advanced) search.

thanks  X-Ray  please  add these notes too

note another thing  to stay away from Beta firmware if not savvy to make a firmware copy  before install and remove if not  work for you.

NOTE  before any firmware updating,   if have win 11  or  TPM 2.0  system you must get your UEFI  bitlocker key #  ......write down for is a long 48 character entre, when your drives are encrypted.

look on motherboard for  REV: X.XX #  and match it to your motherboard model name and

its revision of your model

NOTE:  the BIOS version software has to match Motherboard  revision for each REV was a different chip supplier, if choose the wrong Rev #, will boot to a blank screen for file instuction not match the hardware on motherboard.

you must match REV to model name then BIOS version come last.

yes listen to X-Ray  when say

NOTE: Be very careful to look for a 'special' driver, that leads you to install like Driver Booster, Driver Genius or other shit. Once you see a program to be downloaded, end it right away and Do NOT use it. Keep it to your vendor-brand website for an (advanced) search.    for that is sort of spamming malware to subscriptions  best go to manufactor site for firmware /drivers

some have their own app to keep you updated.

Armory crate by Asus takes care of all this & more if you have an Asus mainboard.

I have a ROG Strix mainboard, 6950XT gpu & 7900X cpu.

Works great.

Download link:

https://rog.asus.com/us/content/armoury-crate/

Otherwise, it's best to go to the relevant vendor's website to download.

Armery Crate is something you should never use. There has been reports of vulnerabilities.
And I had mine suddenly not detection my keyboard anymore. No need, don't use it.

It's been reported the keyboard detection issue occurs when using Aura Sync app in conjunction with Armory Crate.

Thanks for the vulnerability heads-up.
