Well you probably know I go metal Detecting as a hobby, and found some great stuff, well I've shelved that until the spring, waiting for better weather ( well it is Scotland ) so I've tried some Astrophotography, just wanted to share a photo taken last week from my back yard ! Hi All, I've been playing in the CoD5 OW & Vietnam Freeze Tag servers for a couple of years now usually in the afternoons and sometime in the evenings. Being retired has given me more time for gaming and other hobbies. This spring I got my ham radio license (Canada) and it's a great hobby with many facets to it. I'm an avid Linux user and try to do both my ham radio stuff and gaming using just that operating system. My main gaming "rig" is a SteamDeck that I use mainly setup as a desktop computer with the built-in monitor as an extra screen. I have been married for 33 years to the same wonderful wife and I have four grown children (3 sons and 1 daughter). Three of my children are married and I have three grandsons and a granddaughter on the way. I live in a small town in rural Ontario with one stop light and about 1000 people. As a kid, I grew up overseas and speak Spanish fluently. My teenage boys got me into gaming when CoD2 came out. The main game mode I played back then was "Capture the Flag" which tended to be a full speed ahead type mode and that's my default style (which I know is not always the best for Freeze Tag but its hard to teach an old dog new tricks). I was a member of the WarKings gaming community back then and played on their servers (see warkings.net). WarKings is pretty much defunct now. At the time I joined the WarKings, you had to pick a king or figure from history so I chose Sancho II from Spain (and party because I speak Spanish). I have been playing under Sancho_ on XI servers for awhile, and mainly with the WK clan tag. I have come to know many of you and look forward to interactions in game and on Teamspeak on an almost daily basis in the winter and off and on in the summer. AMD Drivers page for me i got D.O.C.P.  like Intel  XMP to set Ram to run faster and CPU architecture firmware. also i went from PCi-E 3v to PCi-E v4 cpu to match motherborard x570 chipset, was good improvement for textures are stunning now. worth getting the 3DX version CPU

Good post. By the way, the X570 was the best chipset for DUAL booting Win7/Win10 or 11. People tend to forget about chipset drivers (AMD and/or Intel). People tend to trust Microsoft's Operating System to provide everything. Or people do not check the Device Manager, missing stuff. People should always check their vendor website like Asus, (disgusting) Gigabyte or f.e. MSI. Same goes for BIOS updates. There are forums that can make drivers for you. For example, the Win-Raid Forum that made a NVMe driver to work through the BIOS/Bootable for me. I could not boot from the drive, but only to access it at Windows. There are some other forums that are hosting drivers before making it on vendor websites like this one: https://station-drivers.com/index.php/en/ Vendors, are testing these drivers/firmwares/biosses before releasing it to the public. Here is one of them too (in French): https://www.touslesdrivers.com NOTE: Be very careful to look for a 'special' driver, that leads you to install like Driver Booster, Driver Genius or other shit. Once you see a program to be downloaded, end it right away and Do NOT use it. Keep it to your vendor-brand website for an (advanced) search.
