Last month i opent a new webshop called rcplaneet.nl it's like a webshop in remote control toys ( no not that kind of toys! ) Today i had a first restock because sales are slowly growing already within a month, super crazy, Social media can be such a big influence too. Anyways, i tought it would be fun to share this small milestone and add some restock pictures.

Mrs. Smeggie and I are loading up Cool Change and are headed to Washington D.C. for the Independence Day festivities going on there. We'll have a flotilla of 8 or 9 other boats from our dock. Us and another million IDIOTS sweltering in this miserable heat for what should be a memorable trip. Hopefully in a good way! Be safe all and remember why this country is so damn awesome.... Smart Bots v2 deployed Placeholder bots set at 16 max Auto defrost disabled Use Quick Message (On me/Regroup) to call the bots to your location They will chase you with a RCXD They will use UAV defrosters They will use Predator missiles, AC130, AGM, Helis etc Bots will taunt you and occasionally t-bag your body This is a stripped down version of the smart bots. People, it's a 20 year old game. It doesn't have modern features, it is not running a full fledge LLM. There's a limited 4MB memory and I can only use few 10s of KBs to make the bots smart but also leave enough room for all your shenanigans. The bots do defrost you, if you are close to them. They will not come all the way to the enemy spawn just to die for you. They play conservatively. If a bot is the last one alive, it will hide and try to get a car and defrost the closes frozen player. Please note bots are intended to be temporary and not a permanent addition, unless you folks want them. These are there for you to stop by and shoot some shit when you want to kill time. I made some network config updates too. If you were a bit laggy you should see improvements.

I prefer a La trappe blond if i drink, or heineken but La trappe is for sure favorite.

I want to take a moment to thank everyone who stopped by the server and tested it with the bots. You have directly helped us gain confidence that the server is ready for re-launch. Some of you may recall, I made a post about two tracks, 1 creating a brand new mod and 1 running the current mod on Cod4x server for all its advantages. This is the 2nd track. The stability issues were unforeseen but we reacted as quickly as circumstances would allow and stayed committed to bring this to you. Over the course of the last couple of weeks, we have bombarded the mod with heavy load, both people and custom created AI bots. After the last fix I made, the sever and the mod stayed stable consistently. Now I have noticed, very rarely Steam authorization will fail. When this happens the server will disconnect you, and you only. It doesn't mean it crashed, it simply tells you that it disconnected. It happened to me today when I left myself in spec for 9 hours. The server was up for roughly 3 days and hosted plenty of games with the bots, including the surprise traffic on Wednesday. Rugger will send out a message for the clan. The bots have been removed, and the server has been given a fresh restart. Have a great Sunday.

Quick update: We created AI bots to stress the server in every which way. It has worked very well and the server was able to handle just about any kind of load we threw at it for days on end. Right now I have put on brand new "smart" bots. These learn from human players, and as the rounds go they become "smarter", more aggressive. They use killstreaks, drive RCXDs, use the predator, AGM, AC130. They save these learnings to memory and every time they play the same map they get better. The bots do disconnect when a real person joins. The mod on this server has been optimized to handle 34 concurrent players. Once we have a better understanding of what our community likes we will either reduce the number of place holder bots or completely remove them. That one is up to you guys. Right now we have set this up as a redirect server for overflow from the regular COD4 server. We do get random new players on the server every day. Good stuff, looks like a lot of fun! Will be cool to see you continuing to progress. Did you have time between deadlift attempts or was it one after the other? I didn't do strongman (would have loved to have tried some of the lifts though), although I followed wsm etc over the years. I was into powerlifting for a long time but I'm light and weak at the moment lol.

Nukes are at 25 now, with the bots every human was racking up 250+kills and back to back nuke abuse. It was weird for new comers playing this mod for the 1st time. I will set it to a longer period. It's easily changeable via HLSW. It's the last line in that config file that I mentioned. I can do it when I get home today. I think 60 seconds as you suggested is a good compromise for the time being. For the record auto defrost was always enabled but it was a longer period than the time limit for each round. The more you know.

So the learning bots were hackishly good so I put on the previous generation. These improve their skill as the rounds go but forget everything on a new map start. They don't save their learnings and they are much easier to fight ( @wildthing) level skill.

Now for those of you who actually prefer beer to froth the above two are prime examples of why you should avoid the Netherlands. The bartender half fills the glass with beer and half with froth, then proudly charges you for a full glass of beer. The bartender then looks pissed off when you ask him to fill it up, the locals sit proudly looking at the froth and convince themselves it's a bargain. It takes the average local twice as many beers to get pissed as the average Brit at that rate, and of course costs twice as much money. It is so cold you couldn't taste it if it was made of garlic and there's nothing in it to stop you seeing right through it. Do they realise they're being conned, of course not they are idiots? In the UK Ireland and Germany we brew real beers, fill the glasses to the top and drink them chilled so you can taste the garlic, choose your drinking country carefully.

My favorites are two kinds of 'special' beers, Belgian, Triple Karmeliet and Kwak. The last one comes with a very interesting glas construction too. It was used like this for coachmen, because it wouldn't spill as easily when driving. I've been in a place where you had to give them one of your shoes, so you wouldn't steal the glass and you would get your shoe back when you returned the glass. Those two I can highly recommend if you on the other side of the pond get the chance at one point. Otherwise, I agree with Basil that white beers (witbier) is nice. Well a boat slip, lift or house does not protect you on the open water from idiots. I should correct myself, we have a boat lift and got hit in a tornado a few years back. Destroyed our old boat, but the lift survived !! Well except for a few pieces of soffit (hence the ladder in the picture and loose soffit sections).

Only way Budweiser is palatable is when it's ice cold so you don't taste much of anything. A nice Weihenstephaner is wonderfully flavorful & can be enjoyed at room temperature. Budweiser is the McDonald's of beer, made to be so plain that it's generic banality appeals to the largest number by not providing any flavor.

An ice cold Rolling Rock every once in a while. I don't normally drink that often but it's a nice smooth Pale Ale. The fresher the better and only in Bottles. I live about 1 hour and 10 minutes from where it's brewed up in Latrobe Pa.
