It makes sense to invest in a mic if you're a regular freezetag player as typing messages (in COD5) puts a big lightbulb symbol above your head, giving away your position, and, with most players being mobile, by the time you have typed out an opponent's position they would have moved from it. A decent surround sound headset like the Steelseries Siberia also gives you a playing edge as you can hear opponents approach and determine where they are before you see them.

coolmd - Team speak If I use a mic in game....codwaw and black ops.....do I still need team speak to join xi? Setup's easy and it works well - handy if a few us want to "meet" to discuss something. (I tend to use voice on Xfire most of the time, personally.)

2_MANY_BEERS Just came in to find out what EOD was. LOL Thanks Rick Now figure out why we can't delete map folders sometimes. LOL When I was working "EOD" meant "Explosive Ordnance Disposal" but nowadays you take care of that for me... (At least you seem to catch most of the satchels! ) -

I used to rate Viewsonic but that died after three years. I bought a Samsung SyncMaster (hi-def) but have had problems with that since purchase. I think the next one will be a combination HDTV/ monitor. I fancy one like this (woman optional).
