Bushape Does anyone consider that their computer system or settings may need tweeked. I have had very little trouble other than the server crashing periodically or some occasional lag. Other than that I have had zero problems. But I have a newer computer. So instead of blaming the game, trying tweeking your computer or ask somebody for help. It's a great game, as long as you can play it. As always as time goes on your computer gets outdated, usually in about 3 - 4 years you need a new computer in order to keep up with all of the demands of the newer programs. Just a thought. Well, Bush', mine is 9 months old, is a dedicated gaming rig with one of the latest Intel i7 processors running it and exceeds the required specs for the game big time. If you visit www.callofduty.com and browse the BO PC forum you'll get a feel for the scale of the problems affecting this game. It is seriously defective and requires patching - some people like you have been lucky to date but many others (certainly thousands if not tens of thousands) haven't been. We all have greatly different PCs yet the same problems affect us all. I find it reassuring to see that so many of us suffer constant freezing of the game. While what you suggest may be true in some circumstances, it certainly is not the case for thousands of us. I'm waiting to see if a patch appears soon and shall not be playing BO a great deal, if at all, until it does.

Pleased to read you're still around Blu'. Don't sweat too much about the studies - sometimes adding stress to the learning equation doesn't help your understanding or memory... You're doing what you can by concentrating on the work but, yes, you need some rest along the way too. Physics and Maths? Oh yeah, I remember them, but gravity had just been discovered when I was at school and some people still thought the Earth was flat. I still have no idea how to solve quadrilateral equations all these decades later and it hasn't impacted on my life at all. I had to drop Physics eventually and forget about becoming a Royal Navy helicopter pilot but maybe that was for the best. And what the hell is a logarithm?? I always thought it was something a lumberjack beat out on a felled tree's stump... Binary was amazing... I wondered what that meant till I bought my first computer in 1985. So, I am sorry I can't offer help with the algebra but here's a picture of a bra to generate some useful brain hormones...

baldiemeat I am so sick of all this crap that I have stopped playing black ops its too much hassle I made the mistake of accepting the Prestige challenge... Get to Level 50 and you have the option to stick there or advance into Prestige - your CP is cleared, your custom classes are wiped and you start over again. Just great if the game is working properly, I guess, but a recipe for even more grind when it isn't... My bad, I guess!

Question: Can you connect with Steam without loading the game? This error message was quite common in the first few days as they had server problems. If it is still being displayed on your computer and not others, it suggests a possible problem with your Steam installation. Have you registered a Steam account and is your PC presenting the correct user details and password to Steam?

kill__again - TDM server just curious.is anybody else having this problem on the TDM server.i get in and playfor about 4 rds and lose connection.then get back in and may play for about 2 or 3 or 5 rds. and lose connection.i know that it is not my internet or my computer so i was just wondering if this happening to others or what .
