I was always under the assumption that I was the first JR member I've been playing way back since the CoD2 days when the clan first formed and my dad was an admin at the time and with the help of a couple of others got me the first JR tags of the clan under NoddyJR - but now I know there was another JR running around at the same time as me! Maybe we were the first JR's that got that JR tag around the same time? Regardless, its nice to see someone that has been here since a JR such as myself.
Strange to think that I have been knocking around here since I was 12-13 and now I'm 28 so 15 years of my time has been spent in this madhouse. Well, almost 15 years. I did have some time away when my dad left the clan and as a JR I had to leave with him. Now I've been back for a good few years, and landed myself a place as an admin for CoD2.
I'm from wet and miserable England and I work in IT as part of a University's IT support team and my goal is to eitehr make the Senior position or head to another team called Operations who deal with a lot of back end server side things. I love my job and I am proud to say that as I worked really crappy jobs that I absolutely hated for 7 years before getting this one.
My favourite games at this time are World of Warcraft, CoD2, 7 Days to Die, Elden Ring, the Dark Souls Trilogy, the Persona series, RuneScape 3 and Old School -- it is a very extensive list that I can go on about.

Not to hijack this thread but she was kept up with her vaccinations.. they have found a lot of tragic incidents happening in the world today and lots of deaths due to covid vax.. just saying..

I believe the monarchy of the United Kingdom wherein a hereditary sovereign reigns as the head of state is an artifact of the past, doomed to be replaced over time. That will happen because the construct of royalty is unable to evolve with the times. It never changes. And as worldwide society continues to evolve, the notion of a single family forever living in unimaginable wealth outside the common man will, as McArthur put it, slowly fade away.
Not anytime soon. Charles will love having his face on all the bills and coin of the Realm while William already has bought into the system of essentially cutting ribbons and running charities in return for living in castles fully staffed to one's every whim. But I would predict William will be the last king of England. And England will be the better for it.
Now, I'm just an outsider and surely don't have the insight of folks like Krackennutz, Totty and RobMc who are part of the monarchy. But they'll surely let me know if I'm wrong.

Surely the notion of referring to one person by accident of birth as being majestic, and bowing and performing a curtsy to that person as if he or she is better than you, and everyone else, has already been largely passed by. 

My theory is that someone forgot to plug her in to the national grid to recharge overnight - that woman is immortal so she's in standby mode.
I don't care much for the royal family because to me they are glorified celebrities, but I can completely understand how heavy this is on my own country having had a monarch rule for almost all their life and has had to see this country through so much and kept the international relations with the commonwealth and other nations what they are. This is a natural part of life, but I do wonder how much the next monarch has to pick up.

For those of you over the pond and in Aussie/NZ the impression is given by the press that the UK revere the Royal Family, not so. They do have their supporters, but the majority are indifferent, as Painkiller says they are portrayed and act as celebrities but have a really dark side. The Queen and Prince Philip were 'old school' monarchs, taking great care of their public image, and genuinely liking the population, and overseas territories, where they devoted a lot of effort.
Unfortunately their siblings and followers constantly abuse their positions, remember the public purse pays a large part of their salaries, i.e. the taxpayer. Only last weekend a Royal flew by private jet to a polo match, and sent his equipment and clothes separately by chauffeur in a car' They use the RAF as taxis, all paid for by poor pensioners unable to heat their flat let alone 6 palaces (and that's just the Queen).
Just take our new King, the original Greta, a tree hugger of the first order, telling us all to revert to cavemen to conserve the world, while having what must be the biggest carbon footprint on the planet. He advises on everything to everyone, this a man who despite having the best tutors money could buy is below par on achievement. In fact he got into university without the grades needed by Joe average, many better turned away, they live a life of privilege. Their indiscretions, excesses and even car crashes are hushed up, by an organisation the Mafia would envy.

We have nothing but bullshittery on the CoD2 servers. For example, just yesterday myself and another CoD2 admin spent the whole CTF round fucking about, and we still won can't play games if you can't have fun with it.

Still spamming 4 years after you were given warnings, kicked and banned and unbanned and then perma banned from the COD4 servers for excessively spamming text and voice chat in-game.

ESC and F4H both have decent Freezetag servers up. Go over there and bug them but I warn you now, they are more strict then we are. F4H is active during the day (mostly on weekends) and ESC is active every night from around 9PM till 3AM.
