omg these are wicked good and easy to make and bring to a party
I used ginger-ale instead and brown sugar instead of white-and did not cover with foil-brought a gallon of vanilla ice cream for the side-reheated at moms -
MOUNTAIN DEW APPLE DUMPLINGS
6-8 apples, peeled, cored, cut up in big chunks
2 cans Crescent rolls
1 stick butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 can Mt. Dew
Grease a 13x9 pan.
Wrap each apple chunk and lay in the pan. Next melt the butter, sugar, and cinnamon. Pour over the dumplings. Pour the can of Mt dew over the butter/sugar mixture and cover with foil. Bake till golden brown (around 30 minutes) at 350°F.
Enjoy!!! These are sooooo delicious, especially with a side of vanilla ice cream!!
the other thing i made was wrapping lil smokies sausages with a half strip of smoked bacon with a round toothpick to hold together /spingles brown suger over and bake 350 for 20-30 min till bacon looks done-pull out put in slow cooker /sprinkle more brown suger over the top then heat up when get to party-its always a hit
