If anyone has a card that recently stopped working and is out of warranty it is worth giving this a go : https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Temporarily+Repair+a+Lost+Cause+Graphics+Card+by+Heating+it+up+in+an+oven/2240 I got 6-9 months more out of an old card that had died doing this years ago. I know Boomboom got some more use out of his card after I told him about it. It might not work and won't be a permanent solution, but might buy some time. Might be worth a go @X-RayXI.

Should definitely be getting higher then 60 fps, not sure what is causing that, but that will definitely make the game feel laggy. I would have thought even with everything on max with a 27" screen you should still easily be getting hundreds of frames. Having said that, check your /com_maxfps and make sure it is set to at least 125. I'm going to be on teamspeak for the next few hours if you can make it on and we could look at some stuff more quickly.

What size screen do you have? If you know how to open console enter /cg_drawfps 1 so we can rule out an fps problem. Tell me what numbers you get in the top right hand corner of the screen. To turn this off again you enter /cg_drawfps 0.

Had a quick look on part picker and the recommended specs, looks like this meets the recommended requirements for £730 : https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/Vqc6sk Didn't search for too long so there will be some cheaper combos but I bumped up the psu for example. If you wanted intel you could put something together for a similar price. Just need to reuse current monitor and look to upgrade in the future. Although my current monitor (144hz with amd freesync) is currently on amazon for £190. You could also reuse an old ssd if you have one.

Try adding all the necessary patches and then apply the above settings and see if that works. You can also try running the game in compatibility mode, cod2 in particular being very old. Looking online people seem to have various issues with Cod2 and windows 10. Are these steam versions or Cd versions?

Sounds pretty similar to what was happening with Randall. Did you try what worked for him? Oster, bear in mind the xlr stats are not retroactive and have only been running for the last 4-5 weeks or so. The player you linked above has been playing on Freezetag 1 for 7 years for example.

Reread what I wrote lol! This would be fine if half the server didn't ignore those of us who keep telling them to do this, and instead just keep spamming "music is awful, skip plzzz". Don't want a good map to keep getting skipped if there is an easier solution to the problem. Edit - Tunnels are always good. Even if they camped the exit at least its another possible point of escape. Would it be possible to make them even longer with multiple points of entry/exit, say another few entrances on the other side of the map?

Hax! Always better to have more places to go, looks good. Any chance of removing the Metallica song on bastogne? Its a good map but I think it annoys too many people and not everyone knows how to temporarily stop it playing.

I think you mean the ingame voices like "Come on" that are in various languages? If so : Ingame click escape then Controls > Multiplayer controls > Quick chat. See which key quick chat is set to. Go back to the game and click this key. Then click 1, 2, or 3 and then click the number next to the command that you want to say.
