  1. Howdy Pain,

Long time no talk to. My work hours changed after we went back to work full time in June. I work a day shift now until our office fully opens. I mostly play late nights when it's morning for the European players. Haven't played in several months because I now have a hard time staying up late enough on weekends.

    Hope you are well, cuz!

    Jack (MrCrowe)

  2. I've been there 4 times now since 2012. I love it! 90% of my ancestors are from Scotland the other 10% are Irish. I would love to live there someday but the citizenship requirements might be too difficult at this point. I missed being able to get citizenship the easier way by one generation. Here's a photo of me in the Highlands in 2014. It's usually much greener than this photo shows.

I dont dip it too far when I do, my buddy the lead guitarist of Monster Truck has cracked the neck on his custom shop '62 in TV Yellow doing a massive neck dive in a live show, he hammers em in there, i go maybe a half step drop if that. The guy I bought it from swapped out the bridge pick up for the 57 classic zebra, I still have all the original parts if I want to put it all back to original, only thing is if I do, there will be the damn holes in the body from teh bigsby butcher job LOL

One of the most important things I have learned in all of the years I've been around guitars is to either leave things stock or only do mods that can be undone. I had the Tronical tuners on 2 of my SG's and after giving them a good try I found that I just don't care for them. I have removed one set and the other came stock on the guitar. I am currently in the process of removing the Tronicals and installing regular tuners. Fortunately you can easily do this with no holes or radical mods.

You could probably remove the Bigsby, fill in the holes and tint them. It might work well and not be very noticeable.

It actually holds its tune very well because I never use the bigsby, a few tunes i do a quick little neck bend, i know i know, not good for the neck but damn it sounds sweet in the right spot LOL. I dont know for sure what the model number is, looking back in my emails from the guy he listed it as SG61TVCH the serial on the headstock is 118711332. I called Gibson before buying it and they confirmed it was one of the 100 made only for Canada. I am in Ontario and had it shipped from Alberta so wanted to make sure all everything was right with it before sending buddy the 1200 plus shipping I paid.

You have to be careful doing any kind of neck tweaks with an SG. My tech friend has had tons of customers throughout the years with broken necks and headstocks on their SG's. Did you pull the bridge PU cover off or did it come like that?

I WISH the guy I bought it from didnt put the bigsby on it! I never use it, and this guitar is 1 of only 100 made that year in that color only sold in Canada, it is a sought after guitar that should be worth something one day.... if he didnt go and drill into the damn body (yes, he DIDNT use a mount!!!) but the lead guitarist of Monster Truck has 2 of this same guitar, so I HAD to have it. I am just running it through a solid state Marshall 40 and a digitech effects pedal using the JCM800 setting with some tweaks to compression sustain and distortion trying to get it close to the Monster Truck tone

You could just return it to stock and put the original bridge back in. It might have better intonation and stay in tune better. What model number is it?

Having travelled on many trains around the world it seems to me that in the uk we have unique problems, remembering we live in a temperate climate the following are reasons given in recent years for trains not running :-

wrong type of leaves on the line

    wrong type of snow

    sun in the drivers eyes

    too cold/wet/hot

Today the too hot has been rolled out, how do you run your trains, could you tell our lot please??

Just be happy that you live in a place that has fairly reliable trains. Having traveled all over Europe, I'm impressed with the modes of transportation available. We have nothing even close.

I'm trying as hard as I can to get this going, who do I talk to? Seems like a waste to have a server sitting there doing nothing when there could be traffic there, I assure you I will be there on a regular basis along with several others! Could we please give this a try? What do I have to do???

I think we would be better off using the extra server as an exact copy of the DM server and call one "Regular DM Server" and the other "DM Server for whiners and hack accusers" ?

Hi guys, for those who don't know me I was a long time XI server player on cod4/5 and eventually became a member. Due to real life stuffz/traveling I ended up losing my tags but I always loved the community (most of you :stuart:). This is my first attempt at making a montage using a bunch of clips from a normal WaW server but I plan on making an XI version soon. The edits aren't great but I figured I'd give it a go anyways =).

Awesome video! I really love your style of play. I've only been able to play against you once or twice but I did enjoy it. I feel that we can only get better and learn things from playing with exceptional players like you. I think I do okay for a person with 62 year old eyes and reactions. You are literally half my age, LoL! Peace be with you Sir!

Yesterday was the worst day of my life, for those of you that know me, you will know that occasionally I visit these forums in the vain hope of learning and satisfaction. Yesterday I was totally rejected from my daily routine of reading of the woes of fellow humans (and others), try as I might from the early hours I could not contact the prime source of gaming knowledge. Desperately throughout the day I tried in vain, tears streaming from my eyes, cold turkey began to take a grip, I began to hallucinate deviating in desperation to Youtube and the bbc. There was only one thing to do, I rushed to the local medical centre on my mobility scooter, burning rubber. The doctor listened patiently, looked me over, and pronounced I was an idiot.

Satisfied I am getting better, and despite only seeing in black and white I am fit again, pray my colour vision returns

    Love Rob

You lost me at "prayers welcomed" …. ?

Ok, I didn't want to comment because I agree a little with beer about being mocked :P  (and you have one more reason to mock me, because of my English)

But, this thread wasn't started by someone who was accusing someone to be hacking. He even said that he was a very skilled player and he was nice. This thread was started by someone who wanted to know if it's possible to ask Everett to tone it down... But I must admit guys that it's true that when skilled players get on, try to make it to be better and give your very best ! Grab it as an opportunity to not just play the game, but to learn it and pay attention around. Though I can see where the people who are asking to tone it down are coming from, because it does kill the server sometimes and I don't like to see members leaving the game for a reason like that...

So... as for them being hackers, I don't think so. I've spectated them both and even when some players couldn't see why he knew a player was in some exact spot, it was possible for me to see it... from where the gunshots were coming from.

Like we say in French : "Mes deux cents !" :)

Well written and well said Athena! I completely agree!

I see the voting has skewed a bit since I proclaimed it a tie and decided to do nothing with the settings.

Tell you what, just like other voting around here, I'll change it if we get an 80% vote.  At least that's the plan as of right this moment.

I think we somehow need to advertise this poll. I believe if people knew about the possibility of changing the damage and distance of the pump with grip they might be more apt to vote.

I played against someone who shall remain nameless last night on a very small map. He was using the pump w/grip and the other 3 players including myself were using SMG's. No matter how hard I played he was able to beat me by 40 kills when the game ended.

The pump shotgun with grip is ridiculously over powered!

    Ok...so...

I'd like to get this going sometime within the next few weeks.

Straight FT, bolt rifles only w/bayonets, no scopes, no rifle nades, no RPGs, no flame throwers, no marty,

I am not sure how to setup teams yet as I need to get people telling me their in.

SOOOOOO, what I need from you all is a reply saying your interested and once I get a count I will figure our brackets and team sizes....if I get enough people wanting to team up fine...if not I will draw teams from the pool of interested players......

Sorry, DM only for me. No teams.

Had an idea a while back.

Straight FT, bolt rifles only, no scopes, no rifle nades, no RPGs, no flame throwers, no marty, everything things else goes.

No more than 10 players per side played on small to medium maps with no tanks.

I could go for almost all of the above except straight DM, no teams. I love the idea of bolt rifles only (single shot), no scopes, no rifle nades, no RPG's, no flame throwers, no marty (Yay!!), no betties and no parachutes.

I used to run a Rifles only clan in Medal of Honor with Poppycock a few years back. It was very successful then.
