  1. ‘Suggested’? Meaning there is no actual proof just suggestions? And the ones interviewed are themselves commentators not people that are actually involved? Sorry but until there is proof then this is no different than ‘some people say’. Come back when something is actually published or the publisher releases a statement about the issue. By now we should all know that %99 of what we see and read on the internet is bullshit. Don’t be one of them and ask for more after taking a big whiff. That said, *if* it’s true, it’s pretty god dammed stupid.
  2. Dexter. The serial killer is the hero. Excellent show.
  3. If I recall, the Mac version no longer works after osx required 64 bit applications. This doesn’t include windows boot camp or VM.
  4. Just to note, Epic this past week shut down the master servers for all the UT games. So servers have to be joined via IP, or there are a couple community run options. SP is unaffected. Also, they shut down the UT5 alpha game as well.
  5. Be careful hitting play on that one. You wont be able to unhear it.
  6. An excellent 2022 update to a great video and song. I've read that the original A4's, being smaller and more maneuverable, were really something to see. But also that the power of the current generation has some pretty good advantages allowing their own unique flavor.
  7. Merry Christmas!
  8. You know nothing John Snow. If this was some fringe left wing nutter that thought Trump was a Russian agent sent to destroy America, and went after his family, I could call it like I saw it there as well. In any case, yes the more that comes out the more he is showing himself to be a right fringe Q-Anon believing nutter. The question will be, are his public defenders going to try and go for the mental defect defense because of it. Regardless of the truth of all that, or lack thereof, comes from them this guy believed it all. And thats the point. People believe this shit. If people say its all lies, then he is a nutter for believing in them. However if people say its all true, what does that make this guy? Seems these days, more so than in the past, violence is acceptable if it is in service of some 'just cause'.
  9. I’m sure the right fringe nutter that attacked Pelosi’s husband last night with a hammer to the head… with her the actual intended target… followed and read many such fringe elements in twitter. Maybe he posted himself. The attacker is not dead so expect many things to come here in America.
  10. Does twitter have a political bias? Sure the same kind of bias as every big company. Namely, what will attract, and keep, the most subscribers/viewers/buyers and make them the most money. Musk didn’t buy twitter for political and/or social reasons. He bought it… for 40+ billion… so he can make money and that is all. He is first and foremost a businessman. Well that and maybe it’s his new rich man’s toy to play with. That said, whatever political bias it might have all they can do is whack a mole. Anyone can use it for their own bias. Meaning millions of people. And they do. Sometimes it’s typical party platforms or social views. Sometimes it’s the extremes (plural) or the outright nutters. And as we see every day, these messages and conversations get out anyway. The question is, will Musk simply choose to stop whacking and let twitter turn into a free for all. And is that a good thing for company viability. Or, since it’s now his company and his responsibility, will he start taking actions of his own if it hurts the corporate image and thus profits. Twitter is a business. People forget that.
  11. Know the difference between Musk and yourself? He has money and you dont. He is full of as much shit as everyone else. Also, now that he is running things... as opposed to last week... he is responsible for everything that twitter does. Or as the case may be does not do. I doubt he will do anything big that is going to cost twitter a lot of money. Or now more appropriately HIS money. Such as in advertising. Thats what the ultra rich do while trying to convince the world that their bullshit is right. Unfortunately as we have seen throughout history, more often than not it works. Which is why humans as a species are pathetic.
  12. Middle ground or not I still wont touch twitter. Nor facebook. And of course 'middle' is all relative. The only middle most of us can certainly agree on is the middle finger.
  13. Just to try, yes default fixes it. Thanks for the tip everyone. Also, if you have firefox, the darkreader extension will set it all to black. You can fiddle around with a few settings like contrast and also do it per website.
  14. Its just not the same if I dont see good morning gifs.
  15. Dunno how youtube works but does a copyright claim actually have to be filed by someone? Or is it some kind of AI control? There are 1000's and 1000's of youtube videos with cod music from all of their games not just MW.
  16. Who? Wasnt he the guy that invented the Internet in the 60's or 70's?
  17. Just so there is no misunderstanding. There is something wrong with a governor, or higher, owning multiple mansions, jets, or vast amounts or property. Funny how people complain about rich politicians... except the ones they like.
  18. Never click a link with 'fb.' on it, and you will never have to worry about wasted time.
  19. I guess an issue, if you only do something when everyone agrees, those that say ‘no’ control everyone else. I guess it can be compared to having a house in a run down neighborhood. Do you fix up your own house even though others don’t? Knowing that it won’t make your neighborhood any better? Or do you throw your hands up? Or maybe try and sell at a discount. Maybe we should ask the martians if they want to pick up earth for cheap. As-is of course.
  20. I guess that means those countries, since they will do nothing, means everyone else should just fold. Pretty much says that they can say ‘no’, the rest of us follow what they say, and they rule. Some would say catch-22. Others would say it should be just like how you live your own life and do what you think is right. As opposed to giving in and not complaining about it.
  21. Does that mean the various nations are wrong to try and do the green thing? Or are china and the other usual suspects wrong for not trying at all?
  22. A raging epidemic that nobody could stop might have had a little something to do with how things went. But I suppose we could have done nothing and let the chips fall where they may. And if things go bad? Guess who gets blamed. Can’t win either way so might as well go for what you think is right even if others think you are wrong. For a long time we have been pretty fortunate with reasonable energy costs. And we the people got complacent with how much we used. That’s just how humans are. Take everything we want, not what we need. Some kind of sport I guess. Who can get the most shit for the least money, if any, wins the game.
