You did the pwd? Letting me in just fine. gungame server. Did that. afaik its still there. Low grav. Cant say I cared for that one. Trust me I know very well how difficult it is to get people to do other mods. Wrote up two or three other gametypes for servers here and nobody wanted to play. Made up a cod4 version of Rush from BF and it worked pretty well. First test used a BF3 map. Three bombsites. Tickets. Respawning near teammates. All of that good stuff. But nobody was interested when it was online so I didnt continue development on it. But I figure there are enough that like playing zombies it might work. If I can make it all work properly I want to add a player controlled Hell Zombie until shot and resurrected as a new survivor. Sorta worked as a quickie hack but the animations were wrong. For that to work however, also need to figure out a way to encourage players to attack as zombies and not just run around. If players need to be encouraged that is.

Just the way the game works. Things like cookable flashbangs were not something they added.

It could look nice and be really fun for SP but in the long run its all MP gameplay for me. However if for example its limited to 18 players again, meaning squad vs squad in CQ maps (which is what their target audience wants), then cod5 will still be the standard. Sure it looks dated without all the neato fx but its all the fun factor. But for that setting it should allow for at least 30 players if not more. Kinda doubt it but maybe this one would generate interest in cod5 again both from a player and developer standpoint. If its just about the gameplay, are there mods for it that do everything you want. Do the maps?

Can a complete mod be made and not just making MP maps for the included gametypes? Been a long time since I looked at it all and, at the time, they didnt release what was needed to make a mod. Mostly zombie maps.

And others demand the no sway. So its a catch-22. edit: Forgot to add, the best real sniper severs I ever played are UT2K4. Loved the translocator and all the teleporters made for great games. The entire map was an open field for every player. The unpredictability really pushed the need for skill on how to search in big environments. Would never work for those with ADD.

Havent played sniper games consistently in a long time but it makes a difference if its a big map. Even with only a few players. Otherwise in small maps most people tend to go to the same spots over and over. Making it that much easier for the good folks. I also dont like the no-cross mirror maps. There is no chance an enemy that respawned to your side, instead of right in front of you, might pick you off or even sneak up on you to get a clean shot.

Unfortunately not zombies. Ah the good ol days when people needed to use an actual disk in the machine to even play.

Well that sucks. I suppose one of these days when I dig it out I will have to do that.

Havent had to do it in awhile but I needed to play zombies in cod5 for a bit to see how things worked. But I suppose it wont let me unless I put in the disk. Packed away someplace. Any way I can do it without having to go find it?

Yea thats totally bs on them and it shouldnt even be an issue. Next step, contact your House rep. Most are often glad to try and help for things like this. Especially if they are vets themselves. For others more political than anything else but 'fix the VA' is popular. Might require doing some kind of appeal first, if they have a method for that. The bureaucracy wants your money but wont give it up unless they have to or it makes them look good. Income or not. Taxes paid or not. Not to us so much. But to those that control the money they get. Your rep also wants to look good to the voters in your district. I have to tell you however that you are wrong on one thing. Taxpayers SHOULD help subsidize vets in one way or another when it comes to things like housing. At one time they did without asking too many questions. You risked your life for your country so they didnt have to. You werent simply a govt employee. They should at least help you when it comes to getting a place for your family to live in. There was an interview I saw a long time ago of a woman in the army that was deployed to the ME after 9/11. She said she signed up mostly for the benefits. Things like help with college. It was a good deal. She also thought that, keeping in mind the times, we wouldnt be going to war anytime soon. But I didnt look at her situation as a negative because when push came to shove, and the time came, she went there without hesitation to do her duty instead of trying to find ways to get out of it. The govt... and the taxpayers... have their own duty to support and help her.

Well, assuming you can get all the raw files for the mod and someone wants to actually do it.

Cruise missiles are usually fired from subs. They dont appear out of thin air and either way both need something to carry them. Its not about the money its about responsibility and who makes the decisions to use them. Whether or not a president should be the one to make the call has nothing to do with how cheap it is.

Only issue with using something like that is that it should be treated like a cruise missile strike and have an explicit presidential order before using one. Otherwise, have at it. Not politics. Just responsibility. Especially if one is going to take credit for it.

This is how it should work. If A particular map needs to be checked out, such as farmland beta, let everyone know about it. However to wholesale say everything in the rotation sucks with no other comment, that doesnt work. Shame because farm is a pretty good map otherwise. When 1/2 the people like a map and 1/2 of the people dont, when deciding what to do are some people more equal than others? Both maps removed from rotations.

Cant please everybody so no point in trying.

Is it in the device manager or disk management? I assume they are the same in win10 as 7.

I'm in the middle of working on rotu so I dont have time to test much. But I can upload the changes to the test server and people can try it out to let me know if there are problems. There wouldnt be the 'bonus' HUD element since that would require recompiling the mod but you should see the '+100' on the screen.
