I actually watched a the Kardashian show a few days ago.  It was taped during the time that the kids had just found out.  They're all grieving because it feels like a death in the family to them and they had no idea this was coming.  They heard it from the media first.  I found myself feeling sorry for them because they are losing their father.  They asked him if he wanted to be with men or women or which one he was attracted to.  He stated that as a man, he was attracted to women but if he becomes a woman, he would be attracted to men.  
 
This is my unpopular opinion on the matter.  I don't believe that God makes mistakes.  Period.  I don't believe that people are born in the wrong bodies.  I do not see that what Bruce has done is in any way heroic or brave. I will never consider him a woman because he is biologically a male, regardless of how he dresses or what he calls himself.  I also believe that what other people choose to do is their business, but when it's all over the freaking news and shoved down my throat, it unfortunately becomes my business. I'd rather not know about such things.  I'm sick to death of hearing about it and seeing it all over the media. 

Some people just have way too much money. If  you really want to feel good about yourself, throw some money towards a children's hospital and give somebody who is not fucked up yet, a chance to live.

NICKNAMES� If Laura, Kate and Sarah go out for lunch, they will call each other Laura, Kate and Sarah. If Mike, Dave and John go out, they will affectionately refer to each other as Fat Boy, Nobby and Tosser.

EATING OUT� When the bill arrives, Mike, Dave and John will each throw in a tenner, even though it's only for £25. None of them will have anything smaller and none will actually admit they want change back. When the girls get their bill, out come the pocket calculators.

ARGUMENTS� A woman has the last word in any argument. Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument.

FUTURE� A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband. A man never worries about the future until he gets a wife.

MARRIAGE� A woman marries a man expecting he will change, but he doesn't. A man marries a woman expecting that she won't change, but she does.
 
DRESSING UP� A woman will dress up to go shopping, water the plants, empty the trash, answer the phone, read a book, and get the mail. A man will dress up for weddings and funerals.
 
NATURAL� Men wake up as good-looking as they went to bed. Women somehow deteriorate during the night.

OFFSPRING� Ah, children. A woman knows all about her children. She knows about dentist appointments and romances, best friends, favourite foods, secret fears and hopes and dreams. A man is vaguely aware of some short people living in the house.

Personally I don't really have an opinion one way or another. I have no doubt that there are people who are born physically as one gender and their brains are wired to be another gender, so I can only imagine what life must be like for them. But, I do get really tired of seeing it splashed all over the news like it is something really important when it really isn't. Celebrities are human like the rest of us and what they do with their personal lives has zero impact or influence on my life, and I don't consider reporting on the movements or day to day life of celebrities to be quality entertainment or worthy of being news in any way, shape, or form.

Hi people. I just registered and thought I'd stop in to say Hi!
     I just turned 65 ,but retired in 2007 and moved to Panama City, Panama. Stayed in Panama for a while before moving to Mazatlan Sinaloa, Mexico, where I lived for around 5 years. Finally decided it was time to come back home and although I'm originally from Minneapolis, I'm not totally crazy, so I settled in Tucson, Az. Like they say here, "you don't have to shovel sunshine!" I played a ton of COD United Offensive and then switched to COD 2. Now I am working on getting ranked up on 4 and World At War.  Please be gentle.
     When I'm not gaming, I'm shooting pool, carving wood or playing with stained glass.  Oh, and I thoroughly enjoy sipping beers. (especially those bought by other people.)
Good to have found you guys and hope to take a bullet or 2 from you on the field.
