My pc has started to reboot during game play. Any ideas? I noticed the fan on the power unit doesn't spin. I am not tech savvy.

 

PS This is not auto-rage quit 🙂

it's likely overheating because the fan quit.  Most of the time you can replace just the power supply, or even the fan if you wanna be super cheap about it.  Unless you really don't know what you're looking at.  It could possibly be your cpu fan?

Please tell us more about your PC. Sounds like your PSU's fan gave out. 

Is it a laptop or desktop? What CPU and GPU do you have? Do you have an air cooler on the CPU (i.e. a metal block with a fan attached to it)? 

For example I have a 2019 Macbook Pro with Core i9 CPU and AMD 5500 GPU that heat up when playing games in Windows 10. My FPS drops when my temps reach 80*C. I use Core Temp and GPU-Z to monitor my temps.
