Yes, it all is true.. There is a little secret within Black Ops Singleplayer.

 

For those who don't want to play the single player version to unlock the second zombie map.

Follow the instructions below to get the map!

 

At the mainmenu, look down to the shackles on your hands.

Keep pressing [sPACE] to escape out of the shackles and your chair.

You will automaticly stand up. Walk around till you see a small computer.

Then press [F] to use it.

 

Type in: 3arc unlock [ENTER]

For unlocking new zombies maps AND all missions.  [THIS IS A CHEAT]

 

Type in: 3arc intel [ENTER]

For all intel. WARNING:  This will prevent you getting the "closer analysis" trophy.  [THIS IS A CHEAT]

 

Type in: DOA [ENTER]

For Dead Ops Arcade mini game. Play this game for "insert coin" trophy!

 

Type in: zork [ENTER]

For text based game. Get "eaten by a grue" trophy!

 

Type in: help [ENTER]

Displays a list of system commands and pentagon user email address.

Type in: mail [ENTER]

For reading Masons e-mails!

 

Also for the GEEKS that know what they are doing.

 

Type in: dir [ENTER]

You can see a list of audio and picture files which can be looked at with the "cat" command.

 

Type in: cat [filename] [ENTER]

To display the textfile, mail, picture or even listen to music.

Type in: who [ENTER]

Gives a list of log in names to use with RLOGIN function. Need password for this.

 

Type in: rlogin [ENTER]

Allows you to login onto a remote server.

 

Type in: login [ENTER]

Allows you to try and login as another user and check out their files.

Here are a few logins to try! (only for "login").

Username: jfkennedy | Password: lancer
Username: rnixon | Password: checkers
Username: lbjohnson | Password: ladybird
Username: vbush | Password: manhattan
Username: jhudson | Password: bryant1950

ALSO !!! If you understand...
When logged in as "vbush".

You can read the file: "DLpw.txt"   (cat DLpw.txt [ENTER])

This will give you an encoded text to enable you to login to the Dreamland server.

Type in: decode [the encoded password] [ENTER]

To decode this password.

 

If that is too difficult for you.. Here is the answer:

 

Type in: rlogin dreamland [ENTER]

Type in: vbush [ENTER]
Type in: majestic1 [ENTER]
 
Here you can check stuff out.

Things like:

 

Who did those experiments with zombies.

Who created the Ray Gun.
