I think I still use 10.10a...any incentives to try something newer?

I think you are better of with the "e" version. Simply due to the fact that they always pick the most stable version to be the next number. Overall, yes.. I have to dig into forums how this "e" version or 10.11 is doing though.

 

Following Twitter helps alot too.

NVidia released an new one and the non "5" series need an modded INF file. So AMD hopefully got more attention to drivers.

I tried the 10.11 driver in both my rigs. Nothing but problems. I had to remove using driver cleaner and reinstall 10.10 on just my gaming rig. That seemed to fix that. I'm fixing to do the same on my other as I am having some problems on that one as well.
