its already in your windows

run / msconfig   really we have to stop loading all this fanchy shit on to your machine. So here's the kicker it stops or helps you stop programs from starting on boot up. Well it loads and runs on boot up as well as runs a scan to see whats running. So now we stop it or do we let it run. Get off the thing a hamster runs on. This is perty but the same as everything else bloat ware. Get a book on what ever windows you decided to run and read it. GRRRRRR

I haven't read all these posts, but isn't this what you can do by typing msconfig in your run window!!!  Then click on the startup tab, and deselect the app you don't want to run on startup.

There is no need for all these fancy programs, which are just taking up more of your HDD space.

Hmm Steam PH shots are you trying to tell us something Beers ? Yes Mr. Cavey and you can uncheck them all and still boot. I have only 2 running my Antivirus and my side bar. The rest if I want it I can start it. And I have My 128 gig ssd sitting right beside me just waiting for my WD 2 TB black to arrive and I'm going down for the rebuild as well. Can't wait Nightmare so I can get the over  7 on the windows experience index  plus I really do need those nano seconds back in my life. So much drama so little time.

Now as most who know me I'm a big believer in keep it simple and it will work. sorry to crash you post Wolftis I know your a huge geek and tres smart. What the comunity could use is some tools on a live cd ready to download and burn . To help them get up and running when they get into some trouble ? (hint hint)

I know what your saying Labab but not everyone understands computers that well so this makes it easier for them. I use msconfig myself but this program found things that where not in msconfig.

PM me about what you are talking about in the "hint hint" deal. I might have what you are talking about there also.
