Sonovabich Posted March 14, 2011 Member ID: 82 Group: ** Registered Users Followers: 0 Topic Count: 1535 Topics Per Day: 0.27 Content Count: 5022 Content Per Day: 0.88 Reputation: 5198 Achievement Points: 131537 Solved Content: 0 Days Won: 116 Joined: 09/02/09 Status: Offline Last Seen: May 8 Device: Windows Posted March 14, 2011 Steam we gotta love them, a few weeks ago i pre-ordered Total war Shogun 2, the official release is not until tomorrow 15th March, on Saturday i get e-mail saying the game had been dispatched please give 3-5 days for delivery, i been out this morning, when i come back the game had arrived ( oo a bit of a bonus 1 day early) i start to install it takes 10 minutes to load game components etc, then it asks for cd key which i enter, it tells me key is fine/legal but steam won't let me install the game as it is not released yet, fucking wankers, i have had many (non related steam) games arrive early before and had no trouble installing and playing single player games, obviously i never expect to play online games until the game is officially released (no servers up etc) but fucking steam decides to play God and puts a block on peoples fun once more, i know in the light of world problems this is nothing but i just felt like having a whinge at steam again, i just wish they would fuck off maybe go bust or something and leave us gamers alone

It doesn't matter that I don't watch the shit this outrageous compulsory annual tax is supposed to fund, preferring to watch stuff from the dish instead (for which I pay an even higher amount!). This is supposed to be a free market democracy yet I am reminded every year that if I don't pay I could go to prison..blah..blah...blah! It's extortion! Oh and the f'ing icing on the cake is that the council delivered next year's Council Tax bill! Awards

If I guy the hard copy, I expect to be able to install that copy on my computer without ever having to connect to the internet, without having to install some other shit. Just install and run.
