Part 2 of the many styles of gaming Spawn Camping

There is another style of play that some players use and think that they are not being watched or that anybody cares. Let me tell you what it is and see what you think. Lets just suppose that we didn't have anysuch thing as spawn protection. I gaurantee you if that were the case that there would be a maqjor problem with that one absence on the server. What I am referring to is what most of you know as spawn killing. Now there are two main forms of spawn killing and one is recognized as such but the other is only occasionally called what is is. We all know if you spawn kill on the ACE Mod that it won't be long and you will be banned. The other its likely anything will ever happen to them beecause they really aren't doing anything wrong are they? If I was in control and be glad I am not cause I wouldnt let the players get a way with it. There are areas on each map that the spawn is some where protected by the surroundings on the map. Well there are players that hide and camp this surrounding area just to kill other players that are spawned there but as they come out of the spawn. They pick a hiding place where they are protected and where they can see the entrance/exit to the spawning site and shoot every body as the are coming out of the spawn. This is also spawn killing and just as wrong as the one that people have been banned for. I have seen some incredible high scores a k/d ratios by this tactic. It is a very unethical way to garner kills. I will tell you i will take videos of any and all plyers who play this way and do my damnedest to get them banned. We have enough crap goin g on this server without all this garbage we deal with here already. My point is we need to keep a clean server so everybody can have fun. That is what it is about, right?

Crack I don't play for anytyhing but fun, and normally thats all I have. But it seems lately we've had more than our share of these types of people, and that looses it fun appeal for me!

i feel ya and know what u mean..but  plz try to just say fuck it and knife those campin bitches its a game and u come back in seconds so fuck it ...if they are flat out campin a spawn..meaning sitting behind it in a corner or on the side of it etc..just get a admin...i prefer u not get me cause i truly see nothin wrong with spawn campers and would hate to ban 1 ..its just like bannin someone who is a good player becuz"hes makin it un fun for others"...(sounds like a bunch of pussies to me) if that was truly the case we need to ban half the clan..lol funny thing is that after the last dispute about spawn campers half the guys that were talkin shit were doin just that ingame SPAWN CAMPIN. have fun and if there is a guy in a spawn point and u cant get ahold of anyone then hit me up...just becuz i dont like it dosent mean i wont push the button..its my duty!(but i will never ever ever ban a person just because they are good..aint my style!)

were playing deathmatch...the point is to dominate and destroy by any means possible without a cheat thats why there is spawn protection....

spawn camping is permitted.say you play freeztag and last person and team keeps respawning in one room.of course your whole team surrounds it and pummels the spawn.we are playing deathmatch  here people.Make the spawn protection longer if ya like or just run like hell like most of you have to anyhow...........

spawncamping and killing is permitted as far as xi server rules go.we play here because there arent uptight admins laying down a list of rules making it unfun.whats next no shooting with out aiming up?

Play/camp/run n gun/spray an pray----------------------    its all still a game           nothing to worry anyones pretty little head over..... If you are getting upset over a game then maybe someone needs a timeout.  Stand up get a drink smoke a cig or just go plant a garden......  I play to have fun.

My bad! I should have identified which mod this thread is about. Its not for freeze tag, death match, or any other but Ace Mod. On there we dont tolerate spawn camping or killing! We have had some banned for it. I always hit the floor running so I am not still in spawn, but having said that there are those that win by that M/O. I love this mod and i am always on there. If your going to make comments about you think I need to take a break, come and live my life for 1 day and you will learn compassion on others not so fortunate as yourself! Thank you!

  I will agree Dean its annoying. Usually the players doing this are pretty sad and usually aren't your strong players. They are usually doing this because its their only legit shot to shoot somone. Sure they can get a decent kill/death ratio now and then. Unless your on a server that is really packed with alot of players they aren't much of a threat on the leader board.
