How to reset the BIOS/CMOS without the use of software

Requirements:

1. ATX Motherboard

2. Motherboard must have a battery on it, NOT a capacitor

Procedure:

1. Remove power cord from the back of the machine.

2. Open case and remove the battery.

3. Push the power button once to drain power from motherboard

4. Put the battery back in the motherboard

5. Close case

6. Plug power cord back in

7. Turn on machine

Congratulations you have reset your BIOS to it's default factory settings

Also on some computers there is a pin that you pull out and put back in and that will reset the bios passwords, but not all computers have it :'(
