Sparty,

Any harware changes prior to this starting? PCI Express sounds like a vid card issue. How many slots do you have and what is in them? Did you update the vid driver recently? If so, maybe thats the problem. If not, check for updates. Not sure what card you have, but is your power supply properly sized for it (dont just look at total watts, you have to have enough power on the proper rails)? Have you recently used tweaking software (like nTune) to speed up your vid card?

My Video Card Is A ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series Video Card. I Did Use Compressed Air To Clean Out The Whole Inside Of The Pc.

The Only Thing I Have Not Done Is Remove The Video Card & Clean Out The Inside Of The Slots That Allow Cooling. My Thinking Is That Something Is Making My Video Card & Hard Drive Work (I Can Hear It Race Faster & Faster Until I Get A Blue Screen & Must Restart The Windows). No Changes In My Drivers Has Been Done. The PC Is Not Overclocked As Far As Settings Go ( I Have Chosen To "Let The PC Decide") On Virtual Memory Settings.

Here Are The Rest Of My PC's Spec's.

It's A Dell Studio XPS 9100

Dual 2.8GHz Processors

8.00 Gig of RAM

ATI Radeon HD 5700 Video Card

Windows 7 Pro Service Pack 1

I Did Have A Power Faliure About 2 Weeks Ago Resulting In A Shutdown Twice. Is There A Chance That I Have A Windows Error Someplace?

Thanks To All For Your Input BTW!

Try taking the video card out and re-seating it first. The easiest way to see what component is causing you trouble is to swap it out with something else.

1. download this and boot from it. This will test your memory.

2. Run spinrite. This checks your hard drive for errors. This most always fixes them...

I was unable to find a download for this without getting some other crap. So PM me with a time you can be online (teamspeak) and I can get it to you.

3. Download and install this. This will help you watch you temps on everything. Over heating also will cause the problem your having.

Just a note that memory and video have a lot to do with each other.

Need more help hit me up.....

I added filters to my case fans to help with the dust bunnies. When my system gets loud I know its time to change them.
