Fix For The Iw3Mp.exe Error

  1. Go to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty 4\miles
  2. Locate file titled mssmp3.asi
  3. Change the file extention from asi to bak (as in ssmp3.bak)

I did this and have not had this errors since. If it works for you, please comment and let me know and please give a medal for the help.

Lo it don't work Janey, we have a post somewhere with all possible fixes, bottom line stop using a realtek soundcard, if you just Google IWMP3.EXE error you will see all the possible fixes, good luck, the only one works for me is a full game install then update my sound drivers to the new install.

the fix is not to use onboard sound.buy a usb headphone with its own drivers and disable onboard sound.that is the fix.
