Is there anything we can do to make playing this game fair? I play with a ping between 140 - 200, now I now other players are better than me and believe it or not I fully accept that. What is a hard pill to swallow is when players with low ping are shooting you before you can even see them? It makes playing the game pointless, is there a ping neutralizer that equals everyone's ping making the game fair no matter where you live? My long winded point being that i don't think your ping is killing you. Noise, being previously seen running in that direction or enemy players forwarding good intel would in my opinion be the cause. I have some experience in this sector being a high pinger myself, with no complaints (of my own) people bitch sometimes when i kill them, but if you let me get close enough to use my shotty then you deserve to get frozen, shit it's only got 15ft of range P.S You will find a way to play around it, try shultz settings he posted, the maxpackets command has worked for alot of peeps Angel 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... When you are shot by players that you cant see until you are frozen usually with a ping around 50 - 60. That can be slightly frustrating and bloody annoying, an example would be yesterday I was playing in the server there was only 1 other player with a ping similar to mine. Slow was on and he was hitting more times that tiger woods hits his ball on a par 5 during a bad day........ every time he hit me I could not even see him....... now being shot by a better player is what the game is all about sometimes they win sometimes you win, Thats the appeal. But when the server is full of mostly low ping players there is no fun in playing and being cannon fodder....... Once the server fills up and there is a mixture of low and high ping players the game then becomes fun. Once the UK and Europe players join I am on an equal par with them..... Just thought there was a MoD we could employ that would equal things out for us poor higher ping players. ........ There is only like 2 real things u can do, move closer to server, or get faster internet which the later isnt a real solution but it helps in some cases.
