I bought a Mad Catz R.A.T 7 this year. It's great mouse!

up to 6400 dpi

Customizable profiles and tins of predefined profiles available on the web

Adjustablle weights

Adjustable length

Adjustable width

2 scroll wheels

Precision aim (you can instantly drop down the dpi by pressing a button)

Contra:

Expensive

Personally, I like and have been using the Logitech Trackman Wheel with the thumb track ball for years now and will never go back to a mouse.  When this one dies I'm getting one of the wireless M570's.

you should first physically hold and test the mouse for the level of comfort before you buy.
