It's happened on more than one ocassion.

Yesterday, I have two times problems to take and/or reroll my cp. I pushed F and the reroll- button but nothing happend. Then I said to Raven that he can take my cp, and it works... Do you know this problem?

And I had the same problems like Pvt. with the deathmachine, i cant use it...

Hmm. Maybe I did that at the same time I did the sentrygun but forgot. So the question is... should this ability actually be removed? After all, some people tell me more ways need to be included to deal with the cars. Not have things taken away.

Press V to reroll. Then take it with the F key.

I ve done it multiple times, but nothing happend... It was only two times. The others cp works fine...

2nd time it was an heli. The first I dont remember, I have to ask plague he took it for me...

Since others were able to take the same package without a problem there is something else going on. In the future if it happens more keep an eye out for things that are common for when it does happen to you compared when it doesnt.

@@Sammy this used to happen to me a few times. I wouldn't be able to take or reroll the package. I would have to shut the game down and restart it then it was normal again. Last time this happened was a while ago.

 

I can't offer any other info about it, just that it took a shut down of the game to fix.

If an actual shut down was needed, not just leaving and reconnecting to the server, perhaps something got messed up with keybinds? Leaving the server would clear out everything mod related except dvars but the care package doesnt use them for securing. All very strange.

I remember leaving and reconnecting to the server but it didn't fix thats how I ended up rebooting pc to see if that worked.

 

It was strange and yet until this post I thought I was the only one that it had happened to. It's been so long I had forgotten about it lol

I have seen sometimes on different servers where one of my WASD keys would get stuck and I wouldnt stop moving to the left or the right. I had to shut down the game and start over. No idea why it happened.

I know this problem too.

Another problem is, I can only move from left to right. Not forward or backward. But this happens only sometimes after a new round. Then I have to wait a few seconds and I can move normal...

keep it that way. i dont see why an heli couldnt kill a car anyway, same with sentries

I've said this before but it was dismissed.

When an enemy throws a care package nade, if i kill him before the plane comes in to drop it, then the plane doesn't come and nor does the package.

This has happened quite a few times to me on all different maps

I had a thought about emp nades and cars. In 1.46 make it more than just a single explosion but behave more like an emitter that saturates an area for 10 seconds. If the car enters the area it is dead. So you can throw it in its path and wait for the car to come into the area. To be fair it has to be short lived and the little white flare might not be good enough for cars to see it and avoid it. Comments?

I think that's ok, normally as the car if your chasing someone you will see them pull a emp so you can u turn and gas it away. But if the emp saturates for a certain time then that stops the car coming strait back after the emp detonates, which makes the emp a more effective counter measure.

 

Didn't you increase the effective diameter of the emp @@Sammy in response to our complaints last time? If you did then maybe that diameter should be put back to what it was, other wise with the larger emp blast radius and the saturation might make it unbalanced.

Yes I did. And yea with this idea it will take thought on how to do it. For example the blast might be larger than the emitter. Maybe the emitter range is only 1/2 of what the blast was.
