He was along side the road with his prey, I got down on my belly and crawled to him till I was about 5 ft away!!! He let me snap some shots and then he took his prey elsewhere for some privacy. Shooting conditions where horrible really hazy and to bright. Crowds were horrible taking forever to get across the valley floor and forget about getting near any of the falls. Got a few good shots, but nothing like my past trips where we pretty much had the park to ourselves. McKinley (since named Denali). We took off from Talkeetna Alaska and landed on Denali up 6,500 feet to the top of Ruth Glacier and landed. Edit: Photos were taken with a Canon 5D MK III and Canon EF 24-105 f/4L USM IS lens....and a Canon 7D MK II with Canon EF 24-20 f/2.8L USM lens Alaska is the most beautiful place I have ever been. Breathtaking views everywhere....literally a postcard in every direction.
