I am running Windows 8.3. I clicked on the option for Windows to resolve, but it came back with no solution available. Anyway I went ahead with installation, but now when I try to run it, the screen freezes, goes blank, and the only way out is to use task manager to get to the Desk Top, then shut down. I mean I have installed both but I cannot play because I get stuck downloading something called "taunts" I have installed COD Ace mod as well but I cannot find our servers. I tried installing gametracker lite , since Xfire is gone, to no avail. I get an error message that says that my internet connection dropped blah blah blah, Is there and alternative to gametracker lite? I did everything shown on the site about installing... not using autorun, changing the CoDMP_S.exe and CoDSP_S.exe files and installing the 1.3 patch. I click on single player and a box pops up to run codsp_s.exe and click run then nothing happens. I'm using windows 7 and have no problems with Call of Duty 1....
