Let's say I break into your house

A lady wrote the best letter in the Editorials in ages!!!

It explains things better than all the baloney you hear on TV.

Her point:

Recently large demonstrations have taken place across the country protesting the fact that Congress
is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration.

Certain people are angry that the  US  might protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, to stay indefinitely.

Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests.
Let's say I break into your house.
Let's say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave.

But I say, 'No! I like it here. It's better than my house. I've made all the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors. I've done all the things you don't like to do. I'm hard-working and honest (except for when I broke into your house).

According to the protesters:

You are Required to let me stay in your house

You are Required to feed me
You are Required to add me to your family's insurance plan
You are Required to Educate my kids
You are Required to Provide other benefits to me & to my family

My husband will do all of your yard work because he is also hard-working and honest. (except for that breaking in part).

If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my RIGHT to be there.

It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I'm just trying to better myself. I'm a hard-working and honest, person, except for well, you know, I did break into your house
And what a deal it is for me!!!

I live in your house, contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of cold, uncaring, selfish, prejudiced, and bigoted behavior.

Oh yeah, and I DEMAND that you learn MY LANGUAGE!!! so that you can communicate with me.

Trust me this isn't just a problem in your country,  we have people here that say they are in mortal danger if they are forced to go back to thier own country,  fair do's i will always be of the belief that we should help others in need,

 

but when they cross 5-6 borders of safe countries just to get to us then i start to think,  wtf,   surely if you are just leaving to save yourself then you will hole up in the closest safest country to yours so you don't put your family thru more hardship than necesary,,,

 

but oh no,, you trapse them alll the way to my country because you know that we are a soft touch and you will get everything you ever need here,,,, thats what gets my goat!!   rant over

I think we need some K-3 mod at the borders with some Auto Turrets and Laser Mines and tell em, if your bad enough to make it thru that shit, then hell come on over!!!! I met many of "political refugees" while I was being held in a london detention center waiting to be deported (lol) this place was full of  people from africa so afraid for their life that they would rather live in a detention center than go back home I met a few that had been there for 5 years and everytime the british govt would put them on a plane to be sent home they would cause trouble on the plane and the govt would have to pull them off and send them back to the detention center

Where I live it is impossible to find a job. Every employer I have met has more than a hand full of ILLEGAL immigrants, all willing to work for next to nothing. They can afford to because they all shack up together in the same house, and I mean a family consisting of at least three members per room. I have walked into living rooms filled with mattresses to the point where you couldnt walk through without stepping on one. Then, after they have destroyed the house because of overpopulation they move on to the next, also making it nearly impossible to find a place to live that doesnt need work done on it just to move in. And to make it worse they send their extra money that they dont spend on rent, taxes etc. to their country so they can go back and live like kings and also leave our country a f*****g shit hole for us to clean up. Needless to say, I cant stand them. Now my children HAVE to learn spanish in order to graduate... WTF? I thought this was America.
