Player/gun skins

I would love to see some XI skins of the comedic variety,

I recall my love of Quake 4's plasma skin - it was a puppy farting green plasma out of its arse....anyone remember that?

I am pretty sure I have played a mod of MW2 that allows you to cycle through your skins when you are creating a class....albeit they were the regular skins...meaning you could pick a ghillie suit even if you were not playing a sniper.

The standard Open Warfare mod will allow this kind of thing but only after you spawn. You will see yourself in third person and you can cycle through the various team skins available on that map. They are different each time because Spetznaz vs SAS skins are not available on Marines vs Opfor desert maps. Or there are sometimes maps with custom team skins, common in snow maps with the white camos.

you can download all knds of skins for eveything,,weapons ,heads , hands,,,its just no one else can see them unless they have downloaded them as well,,the server has to push the skin for everyone to see it. It can be done.

Probably only ones without PB since screwing with player skins would cause checksum mismatches in the files. Otherwise it opens the door to cheating like was common in Unreal with people giving all the enemies neon green skins.
