Knife keeps Killings it's owner,,which destoys kill streaks. It's been Broken for soooooooooooo Long now. Please fix it,,please and thanks.

Beers will know best but I believe it has something to do with being able to have knife throwing and this is one of the unavoidable side affects.  It's that fine line when you are close to a person to knife them but not quite close enough so the knife is thrown rather than held and you run into it because you are so close to the player you just knifed.

Actually Merlin it occurs when we stab one and then as we move forward its still spinning thus killing the skills and efforts of the player. I make a lot of knife kills and this just burns me UP bad when it destroys the kill streaks and the kill to death ratio. I try to play very skillfully,but that puts a bad taste in the -->mouth<--,go ahead and capitalize on the last comment. Ain't nothing like a big ass bunch of disapointment . I don't how many times this has made me leave. I suppose it's fine and dandy for the slower player,but for the ones that are reflex players,,,it can really F up your flow of action and progress. This is my only complaint with this server,,,thanks for listening to me complain.

Pissy, I agree with you lol, I can't tell you how many times im knifing people and I kill them and myself, or I miss them and I die instead.  It sucks balls and gets irritating after a while. 

 

But is it possible to speed up the knife throw?  Or does it just go one speed, cause maybe that would stop that problem

Hikari25,,I know this mod from previous server loads and tweaks. And as I recall the speed of the knife throw is not adjustable.

Dang oh well, would be cool though.  I know in CODUO you could have knives you could throw..fun times lol

There are others who like the feature as it enables knife kills across the map.

It also provides a weapon to half-track drivers other than the vehicle itself eg

in the Byalistok map.

Not saying it should be taken off, because I do the knife throw across the map sometimes and its really satisfying getting one lol.  It just sucks killing yourself I think is all Pissy was saying. 

I never use the half track so I didnt know you can do that in there, might have to give it a try next time

Happens to me all the time, then I'm like, fuuuuck  lol.  Just laugh it off as a quirk of a game that doesn't stop being fun to play.  It is what it is, that's all.  Besides, the knife kills to be really proud of are the ones from the other side of the map.
