Well, I am wondering if a gaming puter thru ibuypower.com would do the trick quicker. They seem to have some pretty good ones, refurbished at that. But I am not too knowledgeable on the gaming cards, memory sizes, ram, and the other stuff that matters. Question is, how hard should I think on this? I want to be as good as GoOney and Sharpe, maybe Queenie or Randal one day. Will a better computer do that for me, or do I just need to sit back and amaze myself as my skills become perfected, like TrailrTrash...?
 What is your price range? I started learning about hardware just a couple months ago and now im confident in a lot of my knowledge. Truthfully what I did was get an outline wish list and researched the hardware and benchmark ed the pieces thru youtube to find out what that piece is capable of. Just my two cents. Google is your best friend any questions ill try to help. Cooper and Blackbart
 Awards

You get exactly what you want. Either cheaper than you otherwise get or more for the same money. And you can watch out for good sales and rebates if you have multiple options for a particular component. Cooper and AyeAyeRon
 Awards

I'll look at those and probably go that route. Sure appreciate the info. Thank you so much...
 Awards

If you build your own you can save between 20%-30% and if you have a couple parts such as a decent Case you can save a bit more. You can build a top of the line AMD based PC for around $800-$1200.Double that for an Intel based PC.A Really GOOD Intel CPU and Motherboard are going to be around $1300-$1500. AMD chips don't seem to handle rendering nearly as fast as an Intel chip with similar stats. This causes a bit of a jerky laggy feeling when running around on a map. On the BF1 beta I was getting a solid 160-170 fps until I got into some spots with many players in a close proximity then my FPS would drop to around 105-110.Alot more to render and to process. My GPU was running a bit warm and was throttling to but my 8 core AMD cpu was showing very erratic spikes in total usage and memory usage was steady. I built my first pc back in 2010 and haven't looked back since Cooper, AyeAyeRon and Wild Fire
 Awards
